I herd they could sign Edgar Bartolomeu. Don't exactly know how good he is but at least he is a left sided player. Expected more of a bigger player signing.

They don't expect to sign that 3rd FA anytime soon, at least untill the summer when the European season is on a brake and BB evaluates our needs .

I that case I hope they sign Edgar Bartolomeu and hope Moreno gets his green card. I think they really need that left sided defender.

It was an article in the Daily News, by Michael Lewis, about Metrostars being iffy on Guevera to start. The bottom part said they might sign Edgar Bartolomeu, a left sided defender/midfielder who played for the Long Island Roughriders.

    Argentines?

Does anyone have info on the possibility of signing the 22 yo Argentines Galvan, AM, and Forchetti CB?

There was a loan deal in the works.

Potentially, both of these players might be very valuable when 1/3 of our team, while not all at the same time, go to national team callups.

    The Third International?
That was set up by Trotsky after his expulsion from the Soviet Union in the 1920's. Now largely a defunct organization, varying versions of which are supported by small pockets of wild-eyed dreamers who have violently different views of its proposed leadership. Kind of like Metro's midfield.

The Metros are obviously are waiting for the Serie A season to end so they can sign Baggio. ;)

I hear either George Weah, Bebeto, Caniggia or Costacurta. They're set to sign one of these guys in the next 60 to 90 days.

I think the Metros will be signing an argentinian international. If not, they should sign a transfer free Colombian player.
