Gracias. I don't think the drive will be too bad. It's about the same as driving from MPLStown to my grandma's. And I've done that a bazillion times. I've even got up super early in teh mornign to do the drive as a monday morning commute.
Moscow as in University of Idaho, right? What's going to drive where you end up? Just acceptance? Spouse? Beer? Stip clubs?
Yeah, it's U of I. Acceptance and $$$ and the main factors, I was hoping to stay in Utah (for obvious reasons), but a really poor freshman year in college may have done that in. So we'll see.
I've got my fingers crossed. Moscow doesn't seem bad for the college thing, especially with Pullman (WSU) nearby. Plus, if law school doesn't pan out you can always get a job at the local lentil factory.
Now that Mathis is playing only 4 hours away by car, I've got RSL on my calendar---even bought one of their shirts when I was in Utah for a tournament last month!
Woo-hoo! Good to see there are a couple folks out there. Does anyone know if there are any bars specifically saying they'll show games? Gracias.
I am not from Boise, but I do like it. I was there once, for a Basque festival. Very nice town. Clean.
Ehhhhh....never was an MLS fan, but after seeing Landon take it to RSL on some highlight show on GolTV...I think I'm gonna become a RSL fan. Maybe. If Mia played for 'em...no problemo. Here? You're best bet is the Ha'Penny in the 8th Street Marketplace. When it was US v Germany in '02, they showed the game. I think during the fall it's a University of Oregon/University of Montana hangout.
How the heck are you able to get to SLC in 4 hours!?!?!?!? SOB it took me like around 6 to get there for the women's game.
Good times good times!!! When I was living on campus at BSU, a whole bunch of us walked from our dorm to the Basque Center for a bigass New Years Eve party. I got lucky with a girl from our dorm afterwards!!!!!!!!!!
