Oh they defended Weiner to the embarassing end. And it was all the "big name" BigSoccer posters that ridiculed those had a laugh at Weiner's expense.

At this point, I'm waiting for V-Fish to show us the places where people "defended Weiner to the embarassing end" and whatever else the rest of that sentence means. I mean, it's and 18 page thread, so it shouldn't be too hard to find long, sustained, and ultimately comical defenses of Weiner's behavior.

You seem really worried about this. If there's nothing in there, and it's just "V-fish being V-fish", you should let it go.

And you seem really concerned about Romney being smeared over Bain. If there is nothing there, you should let it go.

You should quit giving people advice that you don't bother following yourself. The word "obtuse" does actually apply to such posts.

Nope. I enjoy the political banter back and forth. Mitt Romney will be fine. You, however, seem concerned about defending some anonymous posters on the internet. Which is pointless. And kind of sad.

While it's not a big deal, it's also not pointless. Bigsoccer's P&CE board doesn't suck. Part of what makes it not suck is people not trolling and posting bullshit. And when they do -- say, V-Fish lying about a thread and you rather hastily assuming that he's telling the truth -- they get called on it. That's what distinguishes this board from, say, Yahoo or some other place.

Of course, what's really sad is so many people have nicklaino on ignore this thread isn't popping up. A Weiner mayoral campaign could be interesting...

If V-fish was lying, he wasn't lying about the substantive truth of a political issue or current event, he would have been lying about the content of a said individual's posts. It's your continuing defense of them that seems a little strange.
