Still it must be said, great positioning, great composure, confidence and good finish. Would be interesting to know if he could step it up another level (eventually).

Any chance he becomes starting striker for the WC?

Only if Jozy screws up in each of the 3 pre-tournament friendlies. I honestly believe JK can help pull Jozy back from the edge. AJ I think would do wonderful coming off the bench.

    From AZ's Facebook page:

AZ will meet Benfica in Europa League quarter-finals. On April 3, first at home; on 10 April the return in Lisbon. What do you think about this draw?

Benfica will be a very tough opponent for AZ, but there aren't any easy draws left at this point. They've done well to be the last Dutch club standing in Europe.

Agreed. Basel was pretty much the only team I was hoping for.

Not bad for Aron to get a little Portuguese taste before seeing the national team this summer. I love the draw against Benfica. Tough but I wouldn't want it any other way. I tell you what, there are some potentially really juicy matchups in the semis. Local at the rivals Benfica, Porto, Sevilla, and Valencia. The last few years I have been more much excited and interested in the EL quarters, semis, and final than the CL simply because there has been a propensity for league rivals to square off in the EL further heightening the matches.
