I don't think you guys read it right. Guardado is going to get payed peanuts (75K pesos is about 7000 dollars a month), relatively. That translates to about 80,000 dollars a year. How much does Blanco or el Piojo make you think?

He hopefully will get a good amount from selling his image. However, I hope he doesn't agree to sponsor the local termite pest control or maybe the local collision repair specialists.

CSKA its a better team than Atlas.

Russian League its better than Mexican, Russian teams have lured many great players from around the world, the fact that a "shit team" like Dinamo Moscu has/had two players that Atletico Madrid wanted speaks for itself. And actually CSKA possibilites to play the champions league are very high as they have only to defeat a slovaquian team. Also other russian team, Spartak has high chanches of getting to the champions.

You cant be sure of that, he is a very promising player ,yes it is. But you dont know if he eventually become a superstar. Just like other promising players he could go down .

I disagree, but I don't think Russia is the best place for a Mexican, or any Latin player go to develop their career.

What the hell? Your logic is twisted. I'm not gonna go out on limb and declare the Russian league as shit, but it's easy to see some of you dudes see a few names in a league are quick to say boom that's great.

Let's be real you have not seen every team in the Russian League play. Looking up some information on Russian League you'll find it's a very one sided affair.

Is it really better my Bavarian Buddy?

I hold our league in high regard, but never profess it to be the best. But the question stands, is the Russia the best place for Andres. Real answer, no. There's gotta be a better way. Hold out for a more for a Carlos Salcido type deal. A few games in the UEFA cup mean squat if the coaching staff can't develop his talents. Andres needs a club with some track record.

Everybody is better than Atlas, with the exception of Tigres.

I have not seen all the league matches, but i do care to see some of the important matches (well not recently, but i used to watch them, now i cant)

And seriously i doubt someone here has seen a russian league match.

Yeah, Spartak has competely dominated since Dinamo Kiev left the league. But still, equally Bayern has done something similar in the Bundesliga. Does this mean, Bundesliga sucks?, not at all.

The fact that in Mexico every year(season) we have new champions, its because the tournment system, in the playoffs everyone can win.

Who knows if Russia is the best place for Andres. And of course it would be better for Andres to go to a team like PSV like Salcido, but when you have the opportunity to go to CSKA i wouldnt say "no" that fast.

Great comment! I fully agree! I remember Vergara (in reference to Omar Bravo) stating that Racing was a club that had no money, they were in danger of descending to the Second Division, and that selling Bravo to Racing was like selling him to the Gallos Blancos de Queretaro!

He did. They looked good. And he had a one perfect pass, but that guy(don't know his name) wasn't able to put the ball in the goal. :(
