Well MSNBC is in the tank for Obama, only fools deny this, it would be like denying Fox News was in the tank for Romney.

I think the only show I watch on MSNBC now is the replay of Meet the Press.

    I laughed.

Apparently Quayle is unaware of whom Andrea Mitchell married, or what she says when she's allowed to give her opinion. A better paragon of the "centrist" "consensus" that the middle and working classes need to suffer and gays and minorities need to be liberated it would be hard to find.

And I'm not sure how the edit was unfair. Her (stupid!) point was this was some kind of Bush I supermarket scanner moment. It wasn't about the private sector's ability to innovate.

Judging by who this dude is married to I will assume he is a conservative mofo.

IIRC Mitt mocked the "overly comlicated" USPS change of address form as government inefficiency and the Wawas hero (not hoagie) ordering system as the pinnacle of the private sector doing things right. Some asshat told him the USPS form was 33 pages long when it's a simple postcard.

So we get a new insight into the lives of the super rich. Obviously Mitt doesn't fill out the change in address form when he moves. Who does it for him? Is it his wife? His butler? Maybe his office AA does it for him.

Hey they say marilyn Monroe had sex with Albert Einstein so anything is possible.

Maybe women think brains are more important then looks, but they have to think you are at least cute or funny.

Is Alan Greenspan funny or cute? Well maybe he has a foot long between those old legs. Maybe he has a very smart tongue.

    Cute. :D

But have you ever seen Andrea Mitchell react when someone even gently criticizes Greenspan on social security, either the 1982/1983 deal, or when he was Fed chair? It was one step removed from Rupert Murdoch's wife going after that pie guy.

Andrea Mitchell, like most of the high profile newsreaders, routinely socializes with the powerful while simultaneously believing that the concerns and opinions of her circle are reflected by the country at large. The photo is simply proof of her membership in the club.
Such people tend to believe that politics (and journalism) is beneath them. When they are in the tank for Obama, it's only because he's the BMOC of their little world. When a new president is elected, whether it's this year or in 2016, they will smoothly and instantly transfer their fawning allegiance.
Anyone who remembers Chris Matthews' cringe inducing man-crush on George W Bush back in the day knows how this works.

WTF, I do not remember that, I used to love CM on Hardball but he was always left of center, now he is all out left, he still cares about the game of politics more than anything so that is good, there a guys that may be right or left but they care and love the game and they do try to remain neutral as much as possible, like say Chuck Todd.

Take Sally Quinn, the wife of Ben Bradlee. She recently bemoaned the reduced power of the insider DC cocktail party circuit cuz money ruined DC or something, it's hard to tell what she's really whining about. But now she'll actually have to have dinner with friends just for FUN.

He no doubt still is, but "He looks great in a military uniform" wasn't about politics, it was about sucking up to power. To be fair, he was hardly alone in that, but his public persona is always more excitable so his girlish glee was memorable.

Back in the day she wrote a column making it clear that her real problem with the Clinton administration had nothing with policy or politics and everything to do with a failure to recognize the profound importance of Sally Quinn, so I guess not much has changed.

Since Breitbarts racist hack job on Sherrod is not a myth, but fact -- I have no idea what you are talking about, Steamer.

It was pretty funny. Since Breitbart received and publicized the footage, but didn't personally edit it, Steamer lets Breitbart off the hook. The post overwhelmed the Bullshit Detectors of several posters who didn't have the Steamster on ignore. Some of us couldn't post for nearly a week.

I'd put Steamer on my ignore list, but he's too entertaining -- it's like watching a BigSoccer version of the Darwin Awards in action.

Number of pro-Obama, pro-Democratic votes achieved by MSNBC's message failures and the subsequent P&CE quibble over it = 0

Real liberals don't watch TV news except for Newshour. As long as dumbshit pantywastes like Quayle get bent by shit on MSNBC only serves as an indicator of how much talk radio they listen to. Dropout trog methhead truckers are the only ones that care about this shit.

It was meant to be more than zero, but I'll right it off as ironic sarcasm if I can get my free P&CE punctuation pass on this play...

Since you've adopted the role of P&CE Grammar National Socialist and that you like to point out everyone grammatical flaws, I thought it would be delicious to point out your mathematical shortcomings.

    And it's "write," not "right."
