We were really good in the first half, surprisingley very good considering how shite that squad on a whole is. They ran out of steam in the second half which is understandable considering they've been in off-season for 2 months now.

But we didn't really see much else that we didn't already know(apart from the fact that they did show they can play some nice football), Nichols, Cernak and maybe Bozanic are the only dead certs that I can see still playing a big part once the overseas boys and the U20s are thrown into the mix.

Speaking of Nichols, ******** me, he was everywhere. Never seen a guy cover as much ground as him, let alone a fat bastard like Nichols. The Olyroos are going to really need his work rate and his guile moving forward.

Great as it'd be for Mark it would be something of an indictment if Federici, Langerak, Jones etc can't displace him by then.

Zullo & Tommy Oar have played twice as many games as Sarota for Utrecht. Maybe he was the only player they would release?

He really can't be ignored any longer. A squad call-up at least.
