All USA Road Qualifiers to be Broadcast on beINsport

Since you have Comcast you will only have the spanish language beIN and the US-Jamaica game will be a tape delayed broadcast starting at 11:30 PM EST.

 

The Spanish standard definition version of beIN Sports is expected to be added to MultiLatino and Sports Entertainment Package channel lineups on the following dates and in the following general locations:

Starting September 5: New England area, Kentucky, Michigan

Starting September 6: Philadelphia area, NJ, DE, MD, Washington, DC area, Atlanta, Charleston, Chicago, Nashville, Savannah, South Florida, Southwest Florida, California, Denver, Portland, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Tucson, Twin Cities (MN)

Starting September 7: West, NE and Central PA, western WV, OH

Starting September 12: Indiana (Columbus, Connersville, Crawfordsville, Indianapolis, Lawrenceburg, Muncie, Rushville, Seymour and Shelbyville)

The above schedule is tentative and is subject to change. Additional locations may be announced at a later date. Some channel numbers below:

philly has channel 583, whihc is in the middle of the spanish channels??

I see that someone has already shared the DTV (my provider) English channel (620). I don't know it, but there is a DTV Spanish BeIN as well, for any who would prefer that broadcast choice. FYI.

 

Probably the same reason that Triple F paid her. She knows the sport "well enough" and more importantly, from a broadcast perspective, she's easy on the eyes = soccer version of the weather girl. Sounds bad, I know, but I can't think of a more plausible reason.

 

DTV BEIN ESPANOL will not have the USA match Live. Argentina-Paraguay will be live.

 

You can probvably get the USA game in spanish... just have to hit the SAP button on the HD 620 channel.

From what I understand, the game will be shown live on beIN 1 (English channel). On their Spanish channel, it'll be shown at 11:45EST, so close to 4 hours delayed. DirecTV has both of these channels already, whereas Comcast, when they add beIN sports tomorrow, will only be carrying the Spanish channel. Phil Schoen posted to the NAS list that he would be calling the game with Marcelo Balboa and Robbie Earle from the studio in Miami. Also said they would have a one-hour onsite pregame show as well as a postgame show but didn't say who would be doing that.

 

Has Celo improved or is he still awful at commentary?

 

I thought he has been better this season, but it could be that the new play-by-play guy the Rapids have is so bad it makes him sound better.

 

He was pretty bad at the Olympics.

That Sucks ive been looking forward to hearing Ray Hudson call a US game. It was the main reason i was excited when bein got the rights to away qualifiers

 

Any word on English language channel for Comcast?

 

There's been some speculation that it will be rolled out next week.
