Sampson? He could bring credibility back to the club. He does not have to be the head coach, but in terms of organizing the coaching staff and having a clear cut defined path, I believe he will do a great job.

Why am I trolling. The thread is about Sampson and I gave my opinion. Sampson again would do a great job with Chivas USA ,from the youth teams up through the first team. He also speaks fluent Spanish and would eventually give the club lot's of credibility in the Los Angeles market place.

Your opinion is noted but please remember that this is a Chivas USA thread and we Chivas fans are not very fond of Galaxative rejects especially when the reject is a former head coach of that team.

Ok so this Saturday i read a tweet about Kennedy going to the galaxy rumors. Later i read that Chivas USA has offered Kennedy to the galaxy for allocation $ and DF or FW. Now this jackass Steve Davis

It would have to be Gonzalez and a lot of money to make sense. I would really hate to see this.

 

this is absolutely nuts. Big Dan is hands down our most important player. It would have to be Gonzalez. By the way who would be in charge of making this kind of move....Mr David or Vergara himself ? seeing that we have no GM or COACH at this point. As much as I'd like to spit in the eye of that Journo that wrote that trash about our club I just wouldn't be able to come up with a real argument. Our club is a wreck and at this point it is in worse shape than what the Cue's left it. Damn I hate giving these ass backward journos steam for their hate machines.

 

Screw Jimenez (if this is Hector Jimenez we're talking about), I met that guy at one of the SuperClasico, and he is an a**hole who talks crap about our team.

 

Word around town, is that David (ax man) and Vergara are not high on Kennedy. Basically, they think he sucks. Kennedy wants consideration for the USMNT for 2014 and or European opportunities.
The "others" gives him more exposure. Especially since our Public and media relations suck.

Not really. Both have a "different" mindset and realize he's our star player who just signed a lengthy contract extension. They want a new begining.

If I am thinking coldly at the situation, the only way I would allow Dan Kennedy to go is if they offered Gonzalez, or Robbie Keane (it would never happen). I would have liked Donovan a few years ago because despite his attitude towards our team, he is one of the only players I have seen who plays with GARRA every game he plays, unlike most players around the world.


However, this does not mean I am promoting the idea of him leaving, only anticipating the possibility.

 

the only way you can get by without having a SOLID goalkeeper is by having a reliable high-scoring offense. we dont have anything close to that.

trading our franchise goalkeeper for defensive help would be regressive. but yeah, like everyone's mentioned - i doubt the galaxy are even considering giving up gonzalez.

btw, i actually like keane. the lone dude i can appreciate on the dark side.
