All posters please read before thinking about making Altidore game day thread

    Can I make a request, and maybe the mods aren't okay with this? Anyway, could we please refrain from making a game day Altidore thread for tomorrow's game? It was mentioned in the Alejandro Bedoya thread that the players that we don't make game day threads for always score in that game, and its true. Threads weren't made for Bedoya and Johannsson this weekend, and they both scored. At this point, why not try it? I know that it won't directly help Altidore, but why not roll the dice and see if the trend of it for Yanks Abroad works for Altidore tomorrow?

    Yeah, but that will only work if every one wears the same underwear that they were wearing during the Bedoya and Johannsson matches. ;)

    of course, Bedoya's team also got crushed and he was deemed "ghostly" so I'm not sure a Bedoyian performance is exactly what anyone is hoping for v. Spurs.

    Threads used to be made for players sitting on the bench in reserve/youth team games...looks like we have reached the other end.

    I just want to jump in and say this is a dumb idea. You're right, us starting game day threads has been what's wrong with Jozy.

    I would just incase like to declare this officially a non gameday thread especially since it was created on a non gameday. So its official. Jozy plays and scores today. Thanks for "not" doing this like 2 MONTHS ago! ;)
