I will need help with this one.
Also I am not sure that all are Muslims, but it is likely.

    Mido...Tuncay
    Boukari...Karimi...Emre...Zidan
    Yakin...Trabelsi

    subs:
    Hashemian
    Karadeniz
    basturk
    Hakin Yakin

    I can't think of anymore.

Edit: I would have preferred to not do it by religion, instead by region, but I wanted a way to include north Africa, Iran, and Turkey.

Henry is a muslim for sure and so is Patrick Vieira I think. But does it really matter though?

Is the ivory coast a muslim nation? (jw) That would possibly add Akale and Drogba.

Not definitive, but the religious breakdown on Mauritius per the CIA Factbook shows it's possible:

    Religions:

    Hindu 52%, Christian 28.3% (Roman Catholic 26%, Protestant 2.3%), Muslim 16.6%, other 3.1%

I thought that Henry and Anelka were both originally from Martinique (in the Caribbean)?

I believe Henry's father is a White Frenchman. Only his mother is from Martinique. If thats the case i'm not sure he would have been raised a Muslim.

Actually, upon further investigation it looks like his father was from the Caribbean also. I stand corrected.

    don't forget zidane.

no, you're wrong. shi'ite muslims come from persian countrys. everyone else is sunni, skin colour has nothing to do with it.

I was wondering this for a long time. Zidane has refused to reveal his religion, but both his parents are Muslim. Check this out faousmuslim.com. He is probably a Muslim or rise a Muslim.

Judging by the little details that are out there about his faith, I strongly suspect he belongs to no religion in particular. He is most certainly not a practicing Muslim.
