    Yeah, me neither. ;)

I actually saw Journey at Sandstone when I was in high school. I dont really remember it though so it is probably not worth seeing again.

I am glad they are finding ways to get more revenue at the stadium but I hope it isnt at the cost of the pitch.

Quick question re: parking. Before coming to the Galaxy game, I'd read about the numerous issues people were having parking in Lot F. We came early and didn't have to waiting in line for too long before being able to park. We were coming from the south, so took 435 to I-70 to Speedway Blvd. to State St. when arriving (as is instructed on the back of the parking pass). After the game, we were allowed to exit the lot directly on to State St. This seemed to work out well, and allowed for quick access to 435. Is this option gone for good, or are they still experimenting with ingress/egress? We came in for the Montreal game last weekend and ended up sitting in traffic after the game trying to get back out to the interstate (they were directing everyone to more or less leave the way they came in, sending them back around Speedway Blvd. to I-70).

Well my issue is I come in from the north, where they put the Lot F people in the left lane and the Lot H people in the right lane, the Lot H people have to turn left first, so they hold up traffic in the left lane to let the Lot H people cut across. Then after the game, they force you to go down to I-70, when that's about twenty minutes out of my way. Sounds like it's okay from the South, but coming from the North sucks.

For the Montreal game they (finally) got rid of this.

I really really really really really miss Lot C.:(

If that is the lot where stadium employees are parking this season, they need to find a new place for them IMO. Let them be the ones to shuttle or walk a mile to get there. We are the ones paying for season tickets {limps off soapbox}.

Yeah, me too. I mean, the current situation is by no means bad but it's substantially worse in comparison.

For the first few games, the employees have been parking in the T-Bones lot. I'm not sure where they'll go once baseball season begins.

Ah, I didn't even realize that, as I got there about two hours early.

The F parking is acceptable arriving at the game, but a huge disappointment when leaving, especially if you want to head north. About the only time I've made it home in anywhere near the time it took last year was when a) I got there early enough to get in the "good" half of F (the one that turns left instead of trekking around the entire speedway), b) mistakenly followed some cars into Chez Louie (or whatever that place is) and banged a u-ey to go against departing traffic, and c) got to leave for 435N on that road past the Great Bedbug Lodge.

The only saving grace is that the 810 post-game is usually worth listening to while stuck in traffic.

I'm a ginger. I hate the sun. I'm going to be in KC for July 21 against the Revs. Where would you recommend seating to stay out of the terrible, terrible sun?

South or West stands. Budweiser Party corner would also work.

Thanks. Could I get a section number (or range)? I'm on SKC's virtual stadium, but I can't tell north from south.

    Thanks for the help, guys.

I used to live in the KC area from 2005-2009. I went to a few dozen KCW games in arrowhead and the baseball field. I move to DC, you guys get an incredible stadium, and I continue to be stuck in shitty stadium purgatory. Looking forward to seeing what a real stadium is like.

I know we had discussed the way in which we were being forced to leave Lot F by going all the way down to the end of Village West Parkway and how problematic it might end up being. Well, I got to experience firsthand how much of a cluster******** it can be tonight. I had been regularly doing u-turns at the end of the cones to go back the other way as had many other people.

Apparently, they are now allowing Hollywood Casino employees to use the second lane to access the employee entrance. So, the four cars in front of me all did a u-turn and I followed them but unfortunately, a Hollywood Casino employee was coming and I hit her. The front end of my car is demolished. They had never allowed any traffic to use that second lane so I wasnt use to checking for oncoming traffic. This sucks.

Felix219, man, that sucks! Were the cops and the parking attendants helpful in assisting both you and the casino employee? Personally, I don't like the mad dash after the game, so I have begun staying in Lot F long after the crowd has gone. Makes it nice to just chat with all the other folk left in Lot F and to leave without all the mess of traffic.

I tend not to notice these things and so they have probably been up for a while. When did they hang up the banners in the Members Club commemorating previous successes (i.e Wizards)?

They are a nice touch, complements to the chef ... or whoever.

The parking attendants didnt do anything and no cops were involved. We traded info and left.

I have never left a game right after before. I usually stay at least 30 minutes after the game and sometimes stay in the parking lot 3 hours after the game. However, I was exhausted and just wanted to get home. I wont be leaving right after the game anymore. I will be waiting for the crowd to leave.

I still dont understand why they force the crowd away from Legends. I would think that the Unified Government and the businesses within would want 20,000 people going towards it so that they may shop, eat, or whatever else.

Good point. I dont know how many times Ive wanted to grab something to eat after a match, but basically throw up my hands because it would mean Id have to cross traffic/do u-turns/etc. But leaving lot F, they do force you towards Hollywood Casino - which I couldn't care less about.

Yep, I always want to eat right after the game and usually like to hit up Jack in the Box, Taco Bell or even go to a sit down place if I have other people in my car that want a meal as well.
