Owen was unlucky because he came at time we had an influx of good strikers and did not get the playing time he deserved. If there is an English player we should be following it would Jack Willshere as a possible replacement to Alonso.

Bale development from LB, to LW has been remarkable but at this stage he is surplus to our requirements.

 

Let's buy Bale, God knows we need another LW.

 

Is he playing LW now? From what I've heard he's playing more of a ACM role now.

 

He's morphing into Ronaldo.

He's playing a lot more centrally now but he still gets involved down both flanks.
