Cuando surgió el rumor de Alan con el Espanyol, al final Alcorcón pidió más de lo acordado y el fichaje se cayó. Desde hace una semana se retomaron las negociaciones debido a que Alcorcón cedió. Y hasta hace un par de días ya se pudo hacer oficial. Lo que dijo Gironés en su momento fue cierto, lo que dicen ahorita muchos medios acerca de "estuvo un mes a prueba" es falso.
