Hey guys, when Afshin was my youth coach, if we were screwing around at practice, he'd call us Koonies and Kooniejans. Pretty funny, huh? He NEVER said it in a derogatory way, only when he was in a good mood and we were being stupid, like goofing off. And I really hope you guys qualify for south africa, I would absolutely flip out seeing Afshin coaching on the sidelines. Keep in mind to you all, he's a bigtime guy, but to me, he'll always be my u17 coach LOL.

Is it true Ghotbi will quit after the Asian Cup or is it all politics between Ghotbi and the IFF? I just don't see the logic of Ghotbi retiring if we win the AC.
Seems that his contract will come to an end at the end of AC and after that he'll be heading to J-League. I haven't come across anything as to the reasons for contract not renewing; could be him, could be IFF, breakdown of negotiations, etc.
