If we play like this, Iraq will beat us.

Some of the stuff they do leave you wondering what they're trying to achieve.

Ok, so we are qualifyed. We'll probably play against Iraq, for a little revenge after our loss in Asian Cup U19 last year. But if we still play like this...

Nakajima goes from Verdy to FC Tokyo, they're probably getting eliminated today but he won't have lost his time.

We can win if we continue to play as the little team, with counter attacks.

Iraq seems the strongest team of the tournament, it's a real test for us now. But I think that Yoshino and Harakawa are a little too lights in the midfiled (if only Endo, Oshima or even Kumagai were here...).

    We'll be dominated, it's sure.

As I said, we play as the little team. Pathetic.

Can't seem to find the game here in Japan. Asahi ch2 claims they are showing it like they did the others, yet it isn't on and nowhere in my Hikari TV schedule..

well it does say 午後 (afternoon) 01:00 but why wouldn't they just say 13:00 if they meant afternoon? very weird.

Oh, we look better since a few minutes. We manage to keep the ball, even if we are not dangerous for the moment. Nakajima is clearly our best player in this tournament. He gets a lot of fouls.

Some of these guys, like the #2 or the #3, look way over 21.

Contrary to us, the other asian teams have players born in 91 or 92.

figures, I don't get that through Hikari TV.
you'd think they could figure out how to provide a free channel by now.
Keep saying they plan to provide them in the future..
of course, I could get an antenna but then I feel those scavengers NHK would come knocking on my door..

Teguramori's set up is an early but strong contender for dumbest gameplan of the year : sit low and fire long balls to a striker whose first touch is the worst in the world, non football players included. This is going to be 3 fun years if he is this logical all the time.

Jesus, NHK fee collectors are the sketchiest. When I was living in Japan one of them actually demanded to search my apartment to confirm that I really didn't own a TV...wtf. Which Murakami novel was it where the protagonist experienced childhood trauma from his dad being the shady NHK guy?

We'll have 10% of ball possession against Brazil in the Olympics Games (if we manage to qualify...) and we'll lose 3-0 :D
