Hopefully we can actually beat the group for once so we don't have to meet Iran and Japan before even reaching the fcking finals.
I'm guessing that this is a joke? So if all results go as expected we'd face Iran in the semis and Japan in the finals.
I hope the Official AFC site doesn't fcuk up with the brackets again like they did for the 2011 AC. The site had us facing Uzbekistan in the Semi's when we're to face Japan.
Im based in sydney and interested in the aus~korea game up in brisbane on the 17th. If we top the group, the next game against the runner up in group b will be in melbourne. However if we finish 2nd in the group will we be playing again in brisbane on the 22nd?
You guys think China can proceed out of the group stage? Which Chinese players do you guys are to look out for?
The group is not so bad IMO. No excuse not to come out at least top two in that group. And all I cared about was avoiding Iran in the possible Quarterfinals for like the 1800th time in a row, and from what I'm seeing that's not going to happen again this time, so that's good.
Why why why why Canberra! i was hoping majority of the games would be in at least Melbourne or Brisbane and make a trip out of it ....
I wanted Iran vs South Korea but your game against Australia promises to be nice. It will be important for both teams to finish top of the group, even if group B don't seem so hard (Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, China...)
Tough group. I expect Australia and Korea to go through but Oman and Kuwait are not easy. They can upset teams.
Can't wait to play against the Kuwaiti Ronaldinho. Not really. I think Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia will go through. China has been struggling a lot recently. (ex: Lost to Thailand's U23 5-1)
Any Chinese players you think we should look out for? Are there any Chinese players that have caught your attention in the ACL?
Jokes aside. In the ACL, Evergrande players like Zhang Linpeng, Gao Lin, and Huang Bowen are pretty good, but they "disappear" when they play for their national team. The most recent Chinese player that caught my attention is Beijing's Zhang Chengdong.
