The smell of feces is extremely overwhelming. Is Graber trying to take a page out of MLB's caca filled playbook? C'mon Graber...be a man.

Back on the topic of this thrad -
    Kenwyn Jones wants outof Stoke
He makes 6mm euros a year and his contract is up at the end of the season.
He has struggled at Stoke but they aren't a very good team.

He woud be exactly what the Dynamo need up top if we could sign him for less. I doubt the market would pay him more than 2-3MM per year now.

It's times like these that make me proud to belong to a fanbase that throws mini-flashlights at MLS Cup. Fight the power!

Anything to keep him from showing up at Everton to back up Lukaku.

    Pass.

Oh sure. The only way you'd ever get the straight answer is during a deposition or discovery where you could pull all of the related entities together. I do wonder what sort of depreciation/amortization figures are in his "loss" calculation and if the league capitalizes transfer fees over what length or life.

For budget purposes it is over the length of the contract. For tax purposes I don't know.

As for ever getting a straight answer....with SUM intermingling funds from various sources and with a different ownership group (private equity) we will never get the story as it would require something legally big to force a separate company to release numbers.

well this is the time of year i always pipe up about what we need.

first we need a striker...........i want to see what Salazar can do and I hope Carr comes back.

If Salazar can contribute and Carr is healthy for a full season we have a decent strike corps, IMO.

We need some dynamism in the attacking mid position.....I hope Lopez is the real deal........

I dont know how much cap room/money we have available but surely we are trying to get at least one
    goal scoring forward from somewhere....

Hopefully the draft plus Horst plus Bruner will be enough in the center back position to help Taylor.

We are good enough at the outside back spots IMO.

so forward is my vote for agressive scouting and recrutitment.....

I would sign Earnshaw right now for his cap hit last year. Have the option with Barnes of playing him at attacking midfield or Lopez. Also frees up Johnson to play a bit on the left again and Cummings to play a bit on the right if needed. (Though I think Ownby locks down the right this year when OBG is gone).

    No brainer IMHO.

Chaco Jimenez in action right now for Cruz Azul against SKC.

I've always loved that guy since getting to know about him during his Pachuca days.

Wouldn't mind seeing him Dynamo orange.

In a collective bargaining situation, the employer typically has an obligation to provide the union with information for which they can negotiate in good faith. This can typically include financial information. I imagine the MLS union would be hitting MLS, the stadium entities, and SUM up for financial information at a minimum to maximize pressure on the league during the next CBA process.

This is also where the Bradley, Defoe, and Dempsey deals really hurt the league. The league is going to try to sell that they are losing money. If you are hypothetically losing money, AEG and Seattle don't pay those three players what they just got paid.

Where was he playing? The SPL? The Championship? Name sounds Honduran possibly. You know Dom and Canetti like to go on a roll of getting players from a certain country after they sign one player from the place.

Anyway, I bet you this "Caca" fella will turn into Dynamo's best ever player. DP salary for him?

So NYFC get Villa and possible Lampard. Orlando get Kaka and possibly Robinho as well. The more I see these on my FB newsfeed the more depressed I get. For f**ks sake, these teams havent even set foot on the field and they have DP's. We got championships and multiple appearances in the final with shit to show for it . Feels real good. This is why I drink.

How about any of those great Costa Ricans we have seen in the WC. Possibly a Saprissa one since they are used to the weather and have CCL experience??
