Re: Adriano concentrating on his healing

Seems Adriano was seen out shopping in Brazil and taking pictures with fans. He's missed his flight to return and hasn't bothered booking a new flight. Meanwhile Montali seems to be getting ready to lay down the law. He's said that if Adriano doesn't return today they might move to rescind his contract.

I personally would like to see Montali make it his first order of business. Get rid of this cancer immediately. He doesn't even need to return to Italy. Just rescind the contract, I'm sure he's done something to breach it, and be done with it. If Montali does this, I for one will be very glad that we have appointed him to run the club. It would be a big sign that we finally have someone working on our problems and not coming to Trigoria only when they need to make an appearance.

Yeah, it's not like he is going to get his bulbous ass on a plane and come file a lawsuit against the club.

Are you kidding me... funny how he wasn't wearing the sling in some of the pictures drinking back home. What a shame - he could have used this time to trim down and actually try to make something of his Roma stint - instead he gains weight while collecting 5m from us. Emperor my ass!

if i remember my history correctly, emperors were actually known to indulge in food and drink while benefitting from the hard work of others... maybe the name was more prophetic than anyone knew!

After the match today Montali was interviewed on Sky and mentioned Adriano failed to show up for an exam on his shoulder this morning. He said the club will be very hard with him as they've done everything possible to help the player.

Hope they rescind his contract already.

Seems like the rumors of his contract being rescinded are picking up speed. They claim all that's missing is for an official press release.

I hope they push to seek money for damages. That fat turd went to Brazil and did nothing but party, including getting his license revoked for drunken driving. Then has the audacity to show up with his arm in a freaking sling.

Getting closer and closer to rescinding Adriano's contract. It seems both parties have agreed to rescind and now are just trying to iron out the details. Seems Adriano was holding out to try and get money from us, but might be ready to renounce his salary.

If Montali's first act of business is getting rid of Adriano then he's off to a good start.

Glad Montali isn't putting up with this BS. The Adriano era in Rome is finally coming to an end...what a waste of time and money invested to him. Thankfully, he didn't play much as he caused more problems off the field then on it.

This scumbag Adriano is asking for all his remaining wages this season, plus his wages next season in order to walk away from Roma.

What a douche... if we cant cut him off now, then I'd rather we pay his wages this season and then sell his ass this summer. Let him die as a footballer - dont call him up, dont let him near the olimpico, and be sure to use him as a training cone at trigoria!

The team took a gamble with this clown, and unfortunately they lost out. It's apparent that from the very beginning Adriano had absolutely no desire or inclination to turn his career around in European football. He didn't give a damn about this club, but rather only about making a quick buck. Send him back to Brazil where he can blow all his "hard earned" money on booze and hookers.

The bank should have made Montali the GM directly after taking over last summer, this season might have been entirely different.

Good. I can't believe a 29 year old football player was that out of shape... he wasn't worth his wage of 4.5 million was it? That's outrageous. You saved some money at least... you won't be paying him next season.

His wage doesn't match his work ethic... he'll go back to Brazil, gain 10 extra kilos and then go back to partying,.
