Ramos will do great. I don't think there will be that much pressure. Sure he's no Lewandovski but today they beat B.Munich 3-0 with Lewandowski only playing last half hour when they already were 3-0 up. The team is solid.
Hmmmm.. could b, could be. But there is a chance that his new contract plays a part in this. Then again, I don't see any good reason why wouldn't they let him play. Who knows...
the coach of hertha, said that he was very hasppy because ramos transfer...because ramos deserved it.... Mauricio Andres Luna @Mao_A_Moon Apr 14 #NOTA Para El Dr. Pelaez: Adrian Ramos no jugo vs. @bayer04fussball por que estaba lesionado (contusion muscular)! - Nada que ver @BVB ahi!
dude looks just like my old roommate Dwayne. He is always trying to get me to take him to Colombia with me
seriously? He hasn't scored in a long time has he? Good for him tho. Hope he can continue growing in his new team and be beastly come Copa America time.
I like Ramos, but that might be a little generous considering his numbers and the accomplishments of his team. Good for him though, I'l take as many Colombian awards as they give.
You have to look on what his team achieved this season and what were the expectations from them at the beginning of the season (promoted team, just a reminder) and the fact that Ramos deserved a lot of credit from this achievement. If he would play this year in Bayern, no one would be surprise if he was an important part in their predictable title. I think that he deserves that award.
Does anyone really believe that Ramos is the best player in the Buli? Was he important to his team's surprising success? Yes. Was he one of the top strikers in the league? Yes. Having said that, neither his numbers or team success really back up him winning this award. I am not hating on a fellow Colombian, but I am just trying not to be a homer. Maybe it was voter's fatigue? Ribery wasn't as good as last year and Bayern disappointed in the CL. Dortmund had rough stretches and were disappointing as well. Having said that, I think Lewandoski deserved the award and there may have been some politics involved in the choosing of Ramos for the award.
My bet was on Lewandoski until a few weeks ago. Dortmund destroyed Bayern 3-0 with Lewa on the bench for most of the match. A huge statement from Klopp and drowned out a popular sentiment that Lewa had been carrying the team. Who else would have won it? Bayern had success without Mandzukic on the field and the rest of the squad had a down year compared to 2013. Reus didn't light it up until the second half of the season. Maybe Firmino? I like many of you I'm quite surprised that such a contested award went to a Colombian with little press playing for a smallish club. There wasn't a hands down winner any way you look at it and Ramos made a strong case.
Nice gesture of dortmund creating this anti-racist ad. Something that is needed in europe today with the nazi/racist attacks against players becoming more and more common. Hopefully Ramos won't have any problems like other players have had.
Well he's not the only non-white player in Germany; but yeah he will get more attention and more likely targeted.
