Thanks Jon. They did come out pretty nice in the end. Bummed I'll have to wait another month to get a smaller pair! Apologies for not being clear on the size, that would help. They are 8US.
Ok, that makes me feel better. Most boots I get fit like that starting out. Also I remember people saying that the leather on these stretches a fair amount. I was over analyzing and thinking way too much about this and some possible reasons for the difference in fit between the FG and HG adipowers is the difference in sole plate, the FG sole plate fit half a size longer than their HG sole plate which I think might be true to adidas' sizing. What I am talking about is how adidas does their size conversions different than nike. If you look at the US/UK/EUR/JP(cm) conversions in sizes Nike, Umbro, and Puma go a full size down from US/JP(cm) to UK, so size 9US would be marked as a 8UK; and most other brands only go half a size down from US/JP to UK, so a size 9US would be marked as a size 8.5UK; and then the European sizing varies the most between all of the brands. Just another hypothesis though. http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/TWInt/Twint_Pages/shoe.html
The normal adipower FG fit me like a dream in my usual uk11 but the HG is a compleatly different fit.
The AG outsole is heaven on 3G/artificial surfaces. I feel that I have no less traction/bite and without any stud pressure. It requires a bit of trust because you don't feel the studs underfoot but once you buy in... Oh my goodness. I have 3 pairs of the LZ AGs, two of which I had to order from the UK.
My HG adipowers just arrived. On the online tracking it has "preparing shipment" and "arrived", and nothing in between. Right out of the box the fit is... prefect. The upper is little stiff but obviously it will soften once I start playing in them.
Just came across a interesting picture from gunt22 facebook page. A Predator Mania/Pulse hybrid. Mania upper and a pulse soleplate.
Yeah that was me - my twitter feed went mental, everyone seemed to like them! The amount if grown men asking me where i got them from was scary! appleCORR
Anyone else ever experience some discomfort when using the LZs? I tried two pairs and after about an hour they both started rubbing near the heel area. I thought it was a little strange since the one thing everyone says about them is how comfortable they are.
Took my Adipower HG's for a kick about yesterday. The upper has started to soften up very nicely, still has a little way to go though. The internal heel counter on them is the hardest out of any boot I have ever felt. It started to cause a little blister on my heel, so I stuck a water bottle into the heels after I was done with them. The HG sole is very nice. It it pretty flexible it produces pretty much no stud pressure. The studs feel more like a hard rubber.
I got that when the boot was brand new out the box and it rubbed my heel for the first wear. You have to stick with them and wear them in and you wont regret it they are great boots. The heel is just a bit hard because of the plastic they use. appleCORR

Geez! That gave me a fright when I saw the picture moving! It felt like I had been linked to a dodgy site, haha!! Anyways, the metalic blue on those are nice. I wish that Bayern shirt wasn't so rare.
Just thought I'd put up on here... Got a pair of SG adiZeros due in for tomorrow. Pics up as soon as I get them. It's an alternative colourway.. Don't think anyone has posted pics of them on here yet.
Synthetic. Decided to go for it. The fit seems much improved, and I was quite a big fan of the synthetic miCoach adiZeros..
The synthetic on the last model of Adizeros was amazing. It was such a leap from the previous models that kind of lost their shape. Looking forward to seeing them. appleCORR
Just arrived. Wow, there's never been such a good fit on Synthetic adiZeros before... The upper is pretty soft too. Pics up soon.
