Wow - those Messi adizeros are a bit vibrant.
I'm surprised that ive not seen any pros wearing the neon green colourway thats out. I think thats one of the better colourways adidas have done in a while.

Has anyone in the USA ordered from Lovell Rugby/soccer before?

When I track my order through Royal Mail it says they have handed it off to the US Postal Service, but when I track it through their site it says that the "origin post is preparing the shipment" and it has been saying that since last Thursday. I am getting anxious about my Adipower HG's.

Ok, just making sure my package was still in transit and not just sitting in the corner of some shipping warehouse in some unknown country.

I was sent a dispatch email. I would email them and check on that.

Any chance of a review of adipower hg from someone who´s already got their hands on a pair? How is the fit in the heel, flexibility of the soleplate etc. Would be greatly appreciated! :)

I had to send mine back, they were just too tight. The adipower FG I wore in a uk11 had plenty of room between my toe and the end of the boot and I doubled socked when wearing them. My toe was rammed up against the end of the boot in the HG uk11. Gutted isn't the word as they were such well made boots!

I was and still am a massive fan of the adizeros, they just didn't suit my feet so had to give up on them. I have to say though, i haven't been overly impressed with the colourways for the current model. I think it might be back i really loved the 2 tone design on the last model. That silver colourway isn't anything special either. I'm a bit disappointed.

Ah, now you've got me worried. I am really excited about these but I am worried I will finally get them and they will be too small and they will be out of stock so I won't be able to exchange them for another size.

What else can you tell me about the fit? Did the leather stretch at a lot like the FG? Was it annoyingly tight, uncomfortably tight, or painfully tight?

I ordered a 9.5US which usually fits pretty snug. I like my toes to be as close as possible to the front of the boot without being uncomfortable. I am starting to think I should just by another size up just in case and return the others once they finally arrive.

I emailed Lovell Soccer/Rugby about the tracking problem and they said that it will say "origin post is preparing shipment" until the boots clear customs. So we'll see what happens it has already been over a week.

LOL - Its not the colourway, its the design of the boot i dont like, i just think the last model looked better. Plus, im not really a fan of how the leather boots look so i might like them better when i see them in synthetic. They have gone back to the old cyber colours way of the second F50s. I had those and quite liked them! :)

Thanks! I just think the design of the boot and some of the colorways could be better. The launch colour in that yellow was awful, i actually don't know why Adidas decided to release that colourway around the same time that Nike had yellow CTRs out. The only colour i like is the neon green. I think thats a really nice colourway in the flesh. I also like the look of the red/yellow Messi ones, which in my opinion should have been the launch colourway.

The problem is boot companies are getting greedy and releasing so many colourways that they are kinda running out of options.

I remember when i had my vapor 2s (back in the day) and the design lasted for 2 years and over that 2 year period they maybe released 6-8 colourways? they do that in a few months now, look at Nike releasing THREE colourways of the new vapor! It's getting stupid.

adidas Predator LZs. Lets get real. I felt like I was wearing webbed feet with skateboard tape on my toes. Lame adidas... lets make some general public release cleats that actually reflect the player issue version.

Most of the player version LZs are identical to the retail version, bar a tweak here or there. Perhaps you just have odd feet? Several members - myself included - love the LZ, but everyone is different.

On the flip side, I have been advocating "player specific" models for a while, but the custom jobs are getting less and less outside of the last fittings. Most pro players are younger and grew up in crappy retail models so they use them as pros now. Quality is vanishing.

I didn't wear them to play in so I can't say if the leather will stretch. They were uncomfortably tight, you could see the shape of my big toe through the leather. I wear an 11uk in all nike/umbro boots and my left foot could easily wear a 10 1/2 as it is my smaller foot but these boots were even tight on my left foot. The toe box is very narrow and low. Hopefully as you like your boots tight they will be ok for you and they will stretch as you play.

Just got some custom miAdidas F50s in. My opinion on the boot is pretty high. The calf leather is more supple than I expected and the out-of-the-box fit is quite nice for me as it offers more midfoot volume than the Nike's I'm used to. To the eye, they also appear to be constructed to a higher standard than said Nike's. Unfortunately, they run a tad long for my foot so I can't say much about the performance beyond that until I get another pair. I straddle between an 8US and 7.5US (8 in Tiempo Elite, 8 in Maestri 3, 7.5 in Vapor) and having not worn Adidas in over 5 years I gambled on the size and lost. As such, PM me if you're interested in taking these off my hands.

    **Edit: They are size 8US.

I'm not a big fan of the super flashy colorways so the miAdidas program is almost a must for me these days:

I thought I'd post my experience in adiPowers. Performance wise, they are fantastic. But we're not discussing that. In terms of sizing, my left foot is an 8UK, and my right is like a 7.5UK.. Bit of a pain as you can imagine. But the adiPowers felt wonderful - not many boots other than that do.

I have a medium ish width foot. My right foot has a bunion, which bulged the leather out of shape, and lead to an eventual tear in that place. Well, not eventual, it happened in the first game, but that's irrelevant. The heel fit tight I thought, it wrapped my ankle nicely when I pulled the laces tightly, which felt great while playing. The mid-foot is very narrow. That's where most people's problems lie I feel.

In other boots, I wear an 8UK in pretty much everything except Specialis.. The length was bang on, but wide feet would struggle with the fit of the adiPower. If you have a medium/narrow foot.. You'll be absolutely right as rain and love them.
