Best way to describe it, is how camels feet work on the desert. The spread the surface area. With alot more boots now coming out in mix sole its a win around really.
So today, I was trying on boots of the sg variety. Tried the LZ on and they are a nice feet, I had a uk9 though i had some trainer socks on which are pretty thin, had about half a fingers width at the end, Now football socks are obviously thicker so will a uk9.5 in the LZ added with football sock be a snug fit or be on non snug side?
Also Am I right in thinking these.. look alot like these.. and i always loved that colourway, so 99.9% getting the LZ
Yeah I totally agree when it comes to 6 studs, but I was really just referring to the SG on the LZ as they have the same stud lay out as their FG boot.
different length of stud/surface area - science wasn't my strong point but I believe the shorter studs on the FG give more even pressure across the studs while the SG has longer studs which offer a more dispersed pressure
If the new adizeros fit like the old ones I'll be happy, although I'm not too keen on the design especially the red/white ones, it seems like there is too much white on them. appleCORR
Yeah, I understand why FG sole plates have more/shorter studs and why SG sole plates have less/longer studs. I'm just not convinced that the mixed sole SG layout found on the LZ/adizero etc offers a great deal more traction than the FG layout on a really heavy muddy pitch, often found at amateur level.
Yeah I'd agree with that, the SG studs aren't that much longer that the studs on the FG model so the grip levels aren't really improved, especially on a muddy British pitch. Nike always piss me off by not selling a lot of products in SG.
Not rating the look of the new adizeros. It seems like they're going for more and more complicated visuals since the 1's.
They have checked laces too! I think they will grow on me I just think they could have done better colour combos. I'm REALLY hoping that they aren't changing the fit or the synthetics though. I love them just how they are at the minute. appleCORR
Looks like Sports Direct have had a shipment of new boots.. Got some more miCoach AdiZeros for £100 with the chip, think I'll jump on that! Question is... Synthetic or leather? Difficult to choose.
Think I might just go for LZs and forget miCoach.. Can pick a pair up for £99, and they fit my feet fantastically well.
You seem very indecisive. First F50's then Seaweed Vapors and now the LZ's lol make up your mind already. Although for the price you are looking at you could get some Estrela Morelia Neo's or Indonesian made Neos.
It was actually Seaweed Vapors first! I want some Neos.. But I'm unwilling to ship from abroad and I need them for Thursday probably.
Wolves new signing Bjorn Bergman Sigurdarson has been wearing them on his couple of short appearances so far.
Does anyone know whether or not the David Beckham Adipowers are more durable than the original since the upper is synthetic instead of leather? Much appreciate http://www.soccerbible.com/news/foo...power-predator-db-blue-white-electricity.aspx
basically, the synthetic upper on the boot will bond better with the glue when compared with the leather, so short answer yes. But Adidas are really lazy with leather boots and actually its just the toe box which is real leather - if you look, theres a seam under the stripe closest to the forefoot of the boot - thats all the leather you get for your money!
Oh I see, thanks for the info! I'm choosing between the Adipower DB and the black/orange adipower since there were rumors of the leather being less likely to split. I just wish Adidas would've came out with an official statement :/ And the reason I'm buying adipowers is because the Adidas stores here in Canada are selling them 70% off and I'm not too big a fan of the LZ's haha
