ST. LOUIS, MO (August 17, 2010) – AC St. Louis, playing in the USSF Division 2 Pro League, announced the club has signed midfielder Michael Videira to a contract for the remainder of the 2010 season. Videira, 24, was most recently with the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer. Videira appeared 16 times for New England in 2009. Prior to joining the Revolution Videira signed with Hamilton Academicalof the Scottish Premier League. Videira is a 2008 graduate of Duke University where he was a three-time MAC-Hermann Award finalist.
I think he should make an impact. Although I still wish we could find a decent forward. Oh well, hopefully this guy can be a good set up man for Ambersley.
