Good idea for the thread, so our next match is against Atalanta at the San Siro. We are almost halfway done with the season. I'm sensing a run for a EL spot during the second half of the season. We did the exact same thing last year around the time Balotelli signed for Milan.

Nice win, wonder whether we still want to co-own Cristante out this window.

Hilarious. My whole family laughed at this point. OOOOOh, ok, i guess thats good.

NIce win. We should do this versus all the minnow teams. Robinho/Kaka looked good in build up. Behind Balotelli is the 3-2-1 formation allows them to roam more in middle, while midfielders control the middle and FBs provide width. Really like this formation over the 4-3-3. I thought Cristante did well. He looked poised and had a very good first touch, def worth a spot on team. When Honda is rdy and team gains chemistry, Id love for this formation vs 80% of teams.
    ----------Abbiatti---
    Abate-Rami(Zapata)---Mexes----DS
    ----Montolivo-De Jong----
    Honda-----Kaka-----Robinho(SES when healthy)---
    ---------Balotelli_______

i was thinking a very similar thing as far as formations. might as well use our offensive weapons instead of loading up on crappy defensive players. honda says he can play anywhere on offense, so after seeing where he fits best, he might be put in the middle behind balo. that would leave SES and kaka on the wings, they are pretty good at going back to help the defense.

I dont see the point in playing defensive or conservative any more. We need to make up ground. I looked at standings and we have 7 Draws. If maybe 3 or 4 of those turned to wins we would be in 7th place and 8 or 9 pts out of CL spot. Soo, what do we have to lose? Honda is a great playmaker, scorer, jack of all trades offensive guy. I think we all wanted him for awhile and hes gonna be great for us. Start the lineup w/ extra attacker(Honda) instead of 2nd def midfielder and bring in a Poli or Muntari later in game after lead to make it more balanced. Why wait till 70th min to bring in help if we need goals. Honda/Kaka/Robinho all back track and even SES when healthy so its not like we give up a ton defensively. I just think the reward outlies the risk. Now vs better teams we can go more balanced but vs lower tiered teams, go for W
