Can someone translate this please, I'm interested in reading it, and I don't hink there was an option on the webpage to do so, if possible thanks.
Re: translation If I get time, I'll translate it later. For now, you can use something like altavista http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/tr, google http://www.google.com/translate_t or wwwfreetranslation.com (which usually does the best job for portuguese, in my opinion).
I've only seen him play this year once so far and it was the TFC vs. Galaxy match, and he looked rather shaky and unsure of himself out there against a depleted TFC team.
He played pretty so so I was there, but when it counted he came up pretty strong. He was a beast vs Chelsea and has been their best player pretty much every game outside of the TFC match.
Abel was still good considering their backline is shite, against chelsea he displayed what a defender is supposed to be doing.
Donovan didn't miss his PK. The keeper stopped it. Xavier, on the other hand, was closer to hitting the goal behind him than in front.
I'm not sure how some of you guys think that Xavier is good because he really sticks up the joints. THe only thing he gets right is winning headers, other than that, he really doesn't bring anything to the table. His passes are always way off, he doesn't run, just jogs and never attacks like the good old Xavier used to, yeah I know he is a CB but when LA is losing, move up and score some goals. If Xavier ran up once in a while he would have liek 10 goals by now.
Agreed. He looked so baddly out of shape vs New England that I was afraid he was going to collapse on the field.
If Xavier couldn't make it in MLS, where is he gonna go? Back to Europe to play in one of their bush leagues? USL?
He is a circus. I read that he complained that Gullit disrespected him. What could the coach have said ?
Abel Xavier Retires and converts to Islam http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/66/u...l-xavier-quits-football-and-converts-to-islam
Religion is bogus but even if it is not true it can help some people get by. Abel was always a bit left field (which I liked), good luck.
I've heard this too many times. Why? He never died his hair red, never posed in a wedding dress... etc. I think it's offensive...
