Re: Abel Aguilar en Udinese & Xerez Esta semana con nuevo entrenador tras la destitucion de Pepe Murcia, Abel no jugo de Media Punta sino de centrecampista, estuvo junto a Vicente Moreno que es medio defensivo asi que el Xerez jugo sin organizador por que si Abel es medio defensivo jugamos entonces con 2 medios defensivos.
Re: Abel Aguilar en Udinese & Xerez Gran partido de Abel Aguilar ante la UD Almeria, jugando en su posicion de Mediocentro ha jugado un partido muy completo, dandole equilibrio al medio campo y trabajando mucho en defensa y tambien en ataque gracias a su llegada. El y Moreno se hicieron ls dueños del centro del campo. El Xerez CD vencio 3-0.

Quizás su único defecto en la posición de medio centro es que ralentiza la salida del balón, pero Abel Aguilar le da mucha consistencia al centro del campo y, además, tiene llegada. Re: Abel Aguilar en Udinese & Xerez Esas cosas del fútbol que cuando el equipo va bien, los hinchas los adoran, pero cuando algo sale mal quieren acabar a los jugadores como una jauría de hienas. Y eso es en TODO el mundo. Me alegra mucho que se esté viendo lo buen jugador que es Abel, para que deje cayados a todos quienes tanto lo molestaron e insultaron cuando no rendía en esa posición que NO era la suya. Que siga adelante y mejorando, porque él tiene un potencial tan grande que ni él lo sospecha. Éxitos para él.
Re: Abel Aguilar en Udinese & Xerez Cadiz CF 1-2 Xerez CD Derbi entre el Cadiz y el Xerez, en el que Abel Aguilar nuevamente juega de mediocentro junto a Moreno, estuvo fantastico trabajando mucho y dandole muy buena salida al balon, se sigue viendo que esta es su demarcacion donde da lo mejor de el y gusta bastante. Luego por motivos tacticos el mister le coloco de Media Punta, en esta posicion se le vio perdido y poco parcitipativo como es normal al encontrarse en una posicion que no es la natural suya. El encuentro acabo 1-2 para el Xerez y nos robaron un gol legal de Geijo y un penalty clarisimo a Geijo. Era el capitan de la seleccion sub-20 cuando ganaron el sudamericano y necesitamos a alguien que saque a Vargas ya. Ojala juegue en Udinese muy pronto o que por lo menos sea vendido a la primera division de Espa'na. Vamos Abel!

Jarol Martinez is going to Udinese as well and they both play DM, well Jarol sometimes plays RB and hopefully he will there but I doubt they will start 3 colombians because it doesnt loko like anyone will pay 17 million for Zapata. We really need Jarol to make it because we need a international RB playing well in europe. Aguilar needs to learn how to play on a team taht isnt the Colombian NT and in Xerez he is doing well as long as they play him in his right spot, hopefully they can do something with his pace so he can play in 1st soon.
Re: Abel Aguilar en Udinese & Xerez He may not play in Italy, but I doubt it would be his pace that prevents him from doing it. The pace of play in Italy is amongst the slowest in the big European leagues - not to be compared with England, I think Spain is probably somewhere in the middle. Aguilar has plenty of quicks for Italy.

Gran talento, un temperamento increible que demostro en la Copa America pasada (donde fue nuestro mejor jugador), pero parece no convencer en los clubes donde ha jugado. Yo siempre pense que se convertiria en el tipo de jugador que Fernando Gago ha logrado ser, pero ya hace mucho tiempo que nadie (menos la aficion del Xerez) lo ve jugar.... Y es que ahora tiene mas obstaculos para volver a la sele teniendo en cuenta el momento de Jaime Castrillon, el fisico de JC Escobar y la garra con que parece jugar el chico Sanchez (en lo poco que se ha logrado verlo jugar). Para mi es interesante que Edwin Valencia, de mucho menos fama, ha logrado hacer en poco tiempo en el exterior lo que Abel no pudo. Llego al Paranaense, y en su primer partido se declaro con sus hechos como figura, no paran de elogiarlo - ojala que quien sea el tecnico de la sele de aqui a dos meses lo tenga en cuenta. Hoy lei un articulo sobre una derrota reciente del Paranaense donde no jugo Edwin y el tecnico decia que con el en la cancha hubiera sido diferente hace cuanto no escucho hablar asi de un 5 nuestro en el exterior - desde los dias de Chico sera?

Carlos Sanchez is promising and now that he is in France hope things go well for him and he is a starter so he can be a starter on the NT. Escobar goes to Russia and he is lost and dead to the NT. Abel was just seen as the next big thing when he was taken to Italy and they gave Zapata as a throw in price funny thing that Zapata was the one who succeeded but the fact was they needed a CB not a DM which their captain is or was. the thing that pisses me off is that Abel is prob the best player when he puts on a colombian shirt on the field as well as Castrillon but no teams want to give them chances but everyone is all on Rodagellas or Falcaos or Renterias balls !! I know we need a striker bad but all these guys had shots at the NT and do badly(maybe they arent ready). But when Abel or Castrillon played everyone bitched and said they were Ruedas ribs and crap but they always preformed. Renteria(Gold Cup fcker missed like 4 goals a game), Falcao aka MR. Injured or Rodanogella. Abel, Oltavaro,Libis and Toja are sadly the players in the sub 20 that just didnt get any respect and will prob never make it not because of skill but because our fed is stupid and teams just wont give them a chance. It took them like 5 years to call up De La Cuesta because Ath Nacional was pissed that he left them, hope this doesnt ahppen with Soto

I do not know much about Ath Parm just that Ferreira was out cause copa america he came back and now Edwin didnt start the last game. Dont hate the messenger. I hope that they both start and Viafara plays some mins because this team has lost kinda ugly the last few times I watched them play. Any way that Garcia guy from Vasco he starts every other game from what Ive seen on ESPN. Hope that we export Escobar and Anchico to brasil and not Russia

Edwin sat the last game with a minor leg injury and his coach sited his absence (amongst a couple of injured players) as one of the reasons they lost the match. Valencia is a lock at the 6 slot for them this season and his coach LOVES him. He's never been benched at APR, just couldn't play for a long time while his situation with America de Cali was resolved. If you want to study up on APR read Furacao.com - great site with a very helpful search engine that you can use to keep track on all news on Valencia, Ferreira or Viafara. I agree that Abel has always played well for the NT, but thats just my point - whereas he was the heir apparent to play that role back in 2005, his inability to start consistently at a club level has opened the door for others to fill it. Valencia has done what we expected Abel to do - immediately shined playing in a competitive foreign league.

At the youth level he has always done well for Colombia and he looked great in the friendlies he's played. He may be injury prone, but thats different than saying he failed at the NT level when he's never had a chance either way.
Re: Abel Aguilar en Udinese & Xerez Falcao has played at least 4-5 games with the NT with 1 goal with was prob the luckist goal I have ever seen when colombia made like 10 passes inside the box against a weak team like Montenegro. I know its not like the chances that Hugo has had he played at least 16 games with the NT, and Renteria has had at least 6 chances (1 qualifer, copa oro, dont no if he played any friendlies) and as for Edwin thanks for the info, didnt no about his injury just saw he didnt start and got worried but I have read that he has def been shining. Its nice that we are getting alot of players in the Brasilian league. It seems the mexi league isnt so popular for us any more as we justh ave 2 players in that league who dont play for pachuca and they are both NT banned like Tessor and Restrepo(Id take him over Vargas any day)
