hopefully, he finds a team soon. preferably in Germany or France like that article states. i really wanna see how he has been playing ever since that scandal from 2 years ago. it's a shame it had to happen because he was/is a great defender. and unlike Carmona, he actually learned his lesson.

I would love for him to go to Germany, I know he's better than Osorio, he just needs to be given a chance. Yes he fu cked up but if he kicks ass it will put pressure on Hugo and FMF to give him another shot. France would also be great.

I never heard that, but some here seem to think (and I agree) that the FMF is black listing him for making us look bad.

I personally think that we don't need doped up athletes on the team, when he have plenty other capable players who aren't on the roids.

The dude cheated, he should've been banned for life.

He's better than Osorio, Magallon, and Maza all put together.

No, theres a difference between taking drugs for personal use and using them to gain an unfair advantage in some way. That I am against.

    Correct.

Nobody forced him to do anything. He's a grown man, he could've made the decision to not take anything.

I agree that Magallon isn't as solid as he could be, but I'd rather him than a cheater, who hasn't really proven anything.

Magallon impressed me during the Copa America, I think that we also have other up and coming defenders that could fill his position.

I disagree with BIGHigh that he should have been banned for life, but any professional athlete has to know what they are ingesting/injecting and bear ultimate responsibility for that. I think the official punishment was just.

    Bullshit.

He's a professional athlete. He of all people should know exactly what he's putting into his body.

im with you on that one, but appealing to a 2 year old incident as the motive for him to not get called is more bullshit.

He is the best central back since Marquez, we need this guy if we want to be able to compete against top nations. After both of them, there is only Hector Moreno, the guy who failed his pass and caused the goal against Argentina u20 qf.

why are people so close minded? Suarez did similar shit didnt he? he came back... just as Galindo should - of course until hes a regular in a europe top division.

I can see the second chance point. I'd just rather someone who hasn't cheated.

If he gets called up I'll support him on the NT. I would rather someone else though.

I would say to possibly give Pato Araujo a shot, or some of the other up and coming youngsters.

pato araujo is not a CB, he even has said he feels better as a CDM, araujo is only 1.76m ffs, we cant keep giving so much physical advantage to the opposition.

If Marquez or Nery or anyone were to be busted for cheating, I would be against them getting another shot.

I personally just don't put up with that.

Im all for second chances but look at what happened to Carmona. I would hate to see him get a second chance and then possibly causing the NT or the Mexican soccer federation to be banned from a competition or worse the World Cup. Carmona basically caused Cruz Azul to lose an entire season because of his stupidity.

Unless we start importing in some German-mexicans I don't think the NT is going to get much taller.
