I honestly don't see their numbers changing anytime soon unless they have some sort of reason for doing so, however the numbers '16' and '17' have pretty much been their permanent numbers with the KNT, which has grown to serve a valuable meaning like with PJY and the number 10, or Hwangsae and the number 18, Donguo and 20, so on and so forth.

The reason PJS retired the number '21' and went with the number '7' was because he wanted to put behind the 2002 glory and start anew at the 2006 FIFA World Cup and beyond.

Fashion conscious aka materialistic aka name brand whores. Will wear anything, no matter how hideous as long as its Chanel, LV, etc etc. Nike is the elite sorts brand so its no surprise we have that contract even though the jerseys have been underwhelming at best.

Went to local niketown in New York again just yesterday to see if they anymore Korean stuff in the store. The Nike online store just had the Korea soccer ball which was new to me having that available for purchase in the states.

The Korean player printing were still unavailable. And again, jut like I agree with son of thunder, that both Ki and chungyong will have new lower number this time around. So wait and hold off on player prints until we get the official final World Cup squad.

I did noticed yesterday that medium size Korea n98 jackets were gone. They had every size except medium. Which is a good I guess because that means that there are local Koreans buying up these outrageous priced jackets probably also means it is more likely that niketown in New York will have more Korea merchandise in the near future. I'm ready to buy em

pretty annoying how the #20 is more associated with li dong guo nowadays than hong myung bo. i can see ki getting the #6 but with lcy, idk. i don't think lcy really gives a shit what number he wears.

What makes you say that? (Just curious) The number 20 is still forever regarded as the legendary Libero's number, and you have to take into account that the number 20 has also been a long time number for LDG as well.

    Anyways...

LCY should take the number 7 number now and KSY should take 6.

I'm sure they both had the opportunity many times over (in particular LCY) to take a lower number but they haven't.

Well, they chose the numbers 16 and 17 going into the WC four years ago and have been sticking with it since, so it's kinda hard seeing them change anytime soon unless as I've mentioned before that they somehow find the reason for a need of change.

We're now seeing some of away jersey unveiling from Nike sponsored national teams. And the u.s nationals got their away jersey unveiled yesterday.

And get a load of this.

Not that bad. It doesn't look like a USA kit though. Looks russian or some other eastern european country.

I actually like it, but Nike's confusing the crap out of people because that doesn't look like a US kit. The colors seem more appropriate for zee Russians.

Unrelated, but I always wear 19 because Ahn Jung Hwan wore it in 2002. Always my favorite player next to Cho Jae Jin. Shame neither of them worked out that much for the KNT outside of the World Cup for Ahn.
