Agreed. Even the red/blue combo was uninteresting and kind of dated. France's current kit is too frou frou. Have you seen the striped shirt? They're so precious, all they need are berets.

And a neckerchief.

 

Anything even closely resembling a rainbow doesn't cut it on on guys especially athletes.

I'm amazed at how pro ballers can fit in any sized pants period due to their leg work.

I'm certain I'm in the minority here, but I loved our salmon colored ones with the v-neck.

And I agree about the captain's armband... we have so many creative options here.

 

I'm checking out our kit history and Nike has always used the same template for both home and away...

 

for an away kit, it's below meh.

 

I must be the only one who actually likes it.

Wonder if they'll try to incorporate a sash on the home kit? Red background blue sash? If they pull it off right that would be one sexy kit.

 

I hope they send the next sash into space on the space shuttle.

I'm probably in the minority again but I wish our national side's colors were blue. It seems all our other national sports teams rock a light blue uniform as well. Baseball, Short-track, Basketball, etc.

I was pretty peeved during the 2006 WC when we played France and we played in all red. Made us look like a bunch of commies. That hue of red was also vomit-inducing. Coupled with the utterly LAME tiger stripes on the side, the grossly enlarged KNT crest and the fruity V neck, probably one of the worst KNT kits ever made and that's saying something.
