    How are you doing iKnan?

I wish I could be as optimistic about Perspolis's prospects. Did you read about FIFA's ultimatum? THey could be relegated to first division you know?! :(

    Dorood Afshin jan...

I read about that, and it saddens me that the corruption in football can be so much that can get to one of the best and well known clubs in our country. But as a hardcore PP fan, I wouldn't mind...because when laws and rules are enforced, improvement comes along. PP needs a break, they need to sell a few players, perhaps even get relegated and start fresh once again, this time with better management and selection of players/coaches to fit club's budget.

abu moslem got lucky. plus they are a strong team now. if perspolis isnt top 3 this year i will be pissed. we have to show esteghlal their place- under us.

Looks to me that we will have a exciting league this year. A lot of teams are improving and PP and SS are almost faded from their old shape in IPL.

The fan base is bothering me a bit though, there should be more supporters for other teams.

Either exciting or another boring one. Because most of the teams have changed so much that the league looks like a different league.

Can you count the teams that have kept their coach for a second year in a row? There are not many. :)

Didnt they change the name of the league to the Persian Gulf League?

I don't know. In some official news reports they call it one thing and in some they call it another. There does not seem to be a consistency. On the IRIFF site they still refer to it as "Leegeh bartar"!

It looks like Daie`s team (Saipa) doing well in the league and they are far ahead of Esteghlal and Persepolis.

they are indeed doing great compared to last year, and its all thanx to daei which guided saipa with his professionalism and look where they are now, completely beating ese and pp. if saipa win again and win the whole cup i want daei to be tm coach
