"I arrive here with a strong sense of pride. I was very happy to receive the call from president Moratti." These were the first words of the new Nerazzurri coach Claudio Ranieri to the microphones of Inter Channel on his first day of work at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti. Ranieri continued: " I had a meeting today with president Moratti that was very friendly We met each other back before he was president of Inter and I was at the San Siro to see AC Milan v Inter." Then another memory, one that was all black and blue, from when Ranieri was a youngster: "I was 13-14 years old and I used to sing to myself, 'Sarti, Burgnich, Facchetti...' It's impossible to forget that... [smiling]." From past to present, or rather to the new adventure that has just begun: "I always try to do my best and the maximum for the team that I am working for. When you change jobs that is how it goes; you completely transport everything." He then went on to talk about Inter's current moment and himself: "Inter are what we have all seen in these recent weeks, and it's not a good moment. There have been injuries and bad luck, but I'm convinced that this team has it in its DNA to start winning again and start believing in itself. I think there are different types of coaches: I'm someone who does not believe in a winning system of play but in winning players, in the sensation that is created between the coach and players. If that is created then it's possible to start winning again." I don't think the task of getting us back into a winning form is going to be tough for him especially since he has time and experience his first game is 2 days from now vs Bologna then unto the CL to face CSKA Here's to getting back to form, hopefully
He got what he wanted, 2 years -> summer of 2013 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,,11860_7193882,00.html
A lot of folks say that about him and just from the interviews one can tell he holds a lot of respect can you expand a bit on him when he took hold of Juve, I remember he took you guys to 3rd after you came from serie B but then I forgot why he left besides his exchange of words with Mou, couple of games at Chelsea I really dont know much about him Im sure folks would love to hear the pros and cons, like his sometimes questionable subs(chelsea)
I think Ranieri will do an excellent job for you guys. Was really hoping you guy would keep Gasperini, at least through MD15.
that was just some friendly with who ever was not busy with NT and guys coming back from injury(ex Cordoba, Poli) they even called more of an intense work out from what I read their GK was in superb form and we hit the crossbar many times nothing much to say besides good work out no?
