I'll add that since Rafa has arrived, we are in an even worse position than when he arrived. That's what really boils my blood. Why get rid of Robbie for Rafa when the results have been worse. That's a lot of egg on faces.
Agreed. With the players we have, we should be winning these sorts of games anyway - Rafa's ability seems to be turning wins into routs. Rafa's big problem is not understanding that teams close up shop when they come to the Bridge and the space is not there so playing 2 withdrawn midfielders is not going to cut it. I love these big wins, but until we score freely at home against all and sundry, I'll be miffed. That said, I still feel we have a good chance at Swansea as they will play more of an open game which will benefit our approach.
exactly winning 5-0 one week and losing 1-0 the next week still sets a team up to finish just above average or what is better known as Liverpool in football speak as for Swansea- we have shown that we can score in bunches so there is still quite realistic hope that we can overturn the two goal deficit
90-odd games at Liverpool without naming the same XI in consecutive matches. That's not a typo, to be clear: 90+ games.
It is hard not to think this all about one particular player and while I dont want to sound like the tin foil hat crew one has to think there is something there, especially consdering this is not the first time this has occured
Agreed. You don't get rid of a manager that your players TRUST and LIKE, for a manager that got the best out of Torres. What the feck is this? This isn't ProEv. Torres is a sh!tty piece to a pretty good puzzle not the whole puzzle. Why why why! Not only does Rafa look bad here, but the boardroom is looking pretty bad to a good majority of the supporters. The best part in all this is. It's not Rafa's fault.
Agree or disagree with the rotation - but this is what our schedule looks like for the rest of this month: Insane run! No, but I am well aware between the differences of "hope" and what "reality" is. Let me cite you an example; I hope I can win a million dollars in the lottery...but I probably won't so I'll have to continue to work at my job.
