That's correct and I expect them to wrap it up on 4th Feb against Singapore. Would be good to see them stutter and then we will have a good match between Jordan and Syria on our hands......can't see it going that far though!

It will benefit Iraq if they drop points next week, because they have to go full force against Syria.

UAE should look at Januzaj case. He never played for Belgium yet he can only play for England A team when he is 23 because he is acquiring new nationality.

I hope they will go full force against Syria. The last scenario Iraq wants is Syria taking the 3 pts from Jordan, and getting 7 points overall.

yeah, I think iraq and china has 50-50 chance of qualifying through 2nd spot or best 3rd place. by looking of all groups, lebanon, syria & malaysia also have the chance

I think Iraq will beat China. China are going to play away, and haven't played for 3 months. They have no preparation games at all, while we had the WAFF and U-22 Asian Cup and 2 friendlies.

I expect Lebanon to beat Thailand. That would be the biggest threat for Iraq if they do not beat China. ;)

    Go Iraq!

If Iraq win 1-0, China will qualify as best third as there is no chance that Lebanon will win by 5 goals in Thailand (4 goals if Iraq wins by 2 goals).

Even if we tie or lose, there will be a chance but we will depend on other results.

Iran vs. Kuwait in 2 hours.

Both teams have already qualified. Iran set to use younger players and a B-team with no legionnaires involved in the game since full squad will be used vs. Guinea on 5th March. Kuwait will also probably use this match to give some of its younger players a chance in international football.

Those interested in watching the game. Here's a decent stream when the game starts:

Good result for being the reserve team.

    Only positives from the game:
Payam Sadeghian, Yaghoub Karimi and Ansarifard.

The rest are not TM material.
