Which... means... what... exactly? Please explain Are the bars coming out of the JFA logo in reference to the army flag or am I exaggerating...
Basically what Adidas is saying. @Gixibyte 11 lines spread out from the Japanese emblem symbolising the players breaking from their huddle and taking their match positions!— adidas Football (@adidasfootball) November 12, 2013 What they mean. @adidasfootball @Gixibyte hmmm how’d that get past the PR filter?— 𝕄𝕒𝕥𝕥𝕖 (@DoctorIMatt) November 12, 2013 [/quote]
I'm going to try to post something without having it deleted What is the reaction towards the possibly offensive jerseys of Japan in Korea? Success!
I don't think I'm overreacting, I actually am curious. It's just a tad reminiscent of the rising sun army flag in my opinion. I can't read korean well and google translate sux so I'm just asking around... Anyhow, you have the right to your opinion and I respect that.
Controversy aside, I think those Japanese NT uniforms look hideous. Especially the socks... Is that the salmon pink (aka "flaming red" that we used to use way back then) that they're using in there?
In this case, I don't think it's based on 욱일기, but 욱광, a pattern used by the Japanese culture far before the modern era.
lol he looks so awkward in the photo everyone's smiling except him. thats what Lee Myung-joo would look like in a photo surrounded by Ki, Chung-yong, Son, Kimbo, Ji.
