7/10 difficulty as far as the group

10/10 difficulty in the next round matchup

Brazil is as tough as it gets but we have had some success with brazil teams in the pass.

I think its safe to say that the rest of the teams are of similar level. I don't think we are wayy better than any of the others or significant worse than them. I'm sure the cameroonians and croatians like their chances of making it out.

The potential matchup in the next round is brutal though

It's an accessible group but if Mexico doesn't commit to it's more talented players (meaning the Europeans and some locals that were not considered like Lobos and Reyna), ignores youth and speed and doesn't get stronger at the back (I mean, 5 goals in3 games against New Zealand and Finland's B-Team), they'll have a quick exit.

As of right now, I'd put my money on Brazil and Croatia.

I feel confident about the group stages as long as we take the best players we have and I include vela.
I hate how Herrera sets his teams up but it might work

    Ochoa
    Layun,Ayala,Moreno,Reyes,Guardado
    Gullit,Herrera
    Vela,Gio,Cheech/Peralta

I don't want Marquez as a starter dood doesnt have the legs anymore, I rather we try Ayala or fawk it play Maza.

Croatia has been ass too though

They only put up 2 against Iceland in the playoff in 2 games. Look at their qualification and you'll see that they had a pretty rough time in a group that wasn't all that demanding

So we agree that the big winners were Argentina and Colombia?

If Colombia tops their groups they get the 2nd place of group D
And If Argentina tops their they get the 2nd place of group E

This is so set up for Messi to step up at the world stage

Another thing to consider in our group is that all of our matches are very close in proximity

We should see the same type of weather in all of these venues

Neither do I, but his passing, long distance shots and versatility makes him a nice guy coming from the bench.

    Brazil:
    Strengths- Too many
Weaknesses- None, which is great for us since they will crush Croatia and Cameroon.

    Croatia:
Strengths- Midfield with Modric and Rakitic.
Weaknesses- The attack with Eduardo and Olic are old. Backline is weak.

    Cameroon:
Strengths- Makoun and Song good mid, like to attack.
Weaknesses- Attack with Eto and Webo is dangerous but they are old. GK and Defense is weak.

    Mexico:
    Strengths- Attacking depth, GK depth.
Weakness- FMF, Coaching changes, players refusing call-ups, fullbacks, midfield, etc...

If Mexico passes this group stage we play the best from group B in the knockout no? So after group stage if we are 2nd place in group A we play 1st place in group B? Spain or Netherlands , sigh.
