Cameroon and Croatia are definitely beatable, and Brazil is a tough one to chew, but not impossible. Thing is, I have no way to make any assessments given Mexico is a complete mystery. Much better than I was expecting, at least.
I thought we were screwed; I mean in Group A with Portugal, France, England and the Netherlands still not having been drawn. I was more than a bit worried. The group is accessible.
I like our chances to advance if we play on the level we're capable of. I put money on Belgium to win it all as a sort of dark horse.

The game vs Cameroon is a must win...I wouldn't feel comfortable going into game 2 vs Brazil with 1 or 0 points.
Brazil will be our best friend in this group, hopefully they destroy Cameroon and Croatia and then we control our destiny.
We're advancing but after that I think our best chances would be against Spain... Realistically they will be the ones with the most games on their legs (Barca and Madrid in Champions) and they got one of the groups of death so they'll most likely be tired from those games as they most likely won't be able to relax. Spain is known to be over-confident at times as I believe them to be once they here they got us in octavos. Their playing style will allow them to have control of the ball most of the game and be in our own field but once we manage to steal the ball away I think a smart and effective counter attacking game plan could be fruitful for us. We'll have the speed with Layun, Gullit, Oribe, Chicharito, Gio and hopefully Vela to pull it off.
glad i work in education. come friday the 13th mex is gonna give cameroon a nice beating myers style, or is it jason? lol. ill be up at 8am pst!
#fb— David Faitelson (@DavidFaitelson_) December 6, 2013 Hate to say it but hes sort of right.......We gotta improve in the next 6 months. But i believe in Piojo. BTW Pelaez confirmed we will be at santos afterall.....why? the distance...
Maybe we can't get the security deposit back.... Probably has the best facilities available of the places they can pick from.
Who should mexico play to prep for this world cup? I would love to see them play Nigeria, Angola, Sweeden, Denmark, Ecuador, and Colombia.
