eh? Of course its not the World Rivalries. I think the world rivalries forum is for RIVALRIES. In what part of my post there is a hint of rivalry against any club or country? I just dont think that going to Brazil for the girls (sexual tourism) is any good. Nor do I think that its very safe to meet Brazilian girls online. Its FACT that most girls that do go to such sites to meet foreigners are not up to anything good. Irri: it´s known Jhiqui: yes Khaleesi, it´s known!
The tranny talk runs rampant over there. We don't have problems with that kind of people where I live... Maybe he just met the girls on Facebook, don't be so jaded. Also, we know girls anywhere like foreigners. If he looks normal and has any kind of game he will meet plenty of women. Brazil doesn't lack parties, if he is not creepy he won't have to resort to prostitutes.
sorry, I never visit the World Rivalries forum, so I didnt know that. hmm, ok, thats a possibility we are all creepy at Big Soccer
Get with the times bro we are not in 1970s or 80s is 2012. Online dating is something normal just like meeting someone at the bar or church or school. I actually have met plenty of girls online from all over the world, here in PR, germany, USA, Mexico, Panama, dominican republic and loads more. Every time I'm traveling anywhere i make sure i hook up with somebody from the area prior to getting there and never have had any problems. Of course there are plenty that are there looking for a sugar daddy or somebody that will change their luck and future. But that's not any different then the girls that go to bars, clubs and other places where you meet them. About the tranny comment well i dont go to the same sites you go to so i dont have that problem. And is not sex tourism is just normal tourism but with your own personal tour guide. []__[]
For the foreigners do you intend to travel to Brasil? I would like to but too early to tell - depends on a lot of factors. I probably won't decide until after the teams have qualified - beginning of 2014. I only decided to go to South Africa at 2 weeks notice. Have you ever traveled to a WC? Yes - I am an old timer - Spain '82, Mexico '86, Italy '90. I could not afford any after that as I got married but was allowed to go to South Africa. Have you ever traveled to Brasil? Yes, early 90's a few times. I had a Brazilian g/f for a couple of years and a relative working there. Brief visit about 6 years ago when I went to Argentina. How many cities do you intend to go? Depends on the games and costs What do you expect for 2014? Should be a great party - better than SA. What the WC organization can not miss for you? Fair and efficient distribution of tickets for the ordinary fan - fewer corporate parasites - not a realistic hope - its been a problem at every World Cup. FIFA don't care. Thye only want fans for a backdrop. What are yours concerns? Cost of transport between cities - big distances. Gouging on accommodation but a lot of the gougers got caught out as they did in SA.
Am I going? No, I have no doubt that Brazil can pull it off but I plan on staying home for this one and watch it from my air conditon home and on my 50 inch Sony TV and a few beers and pizza! I do plan to go to the 2018 one
Hello everyone, I am designing a website for the 2014 FIFA WC which will be hosted in Brazil I ask you guys to take 2 minutes of your time to answer a survey about it. This survey is based on your interest about FIFA and Internet usability for tourism. Here's the link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dDlWd3NsSmlJd3M2WE9mdEFYcERLYWc6MQ I really appreciate it! Thank you!
For the foreigners do you intend to travel to Brasil? YES Have you ever traveled to a WC? Yes This would be my eigth. Only missed Italy since 1982. Have you ever traveled to Brasil? No How many cities do you intend to go? Hopefully stay in two and see a game in two others What do you expect for 2014? A much more relaxed atmosphere than SA and probably teh most passionate fans as hosts since Mexico in 1986 What the WC organization can not miss for you? Not quite sure what you are looking for here but teh most important is for FIFA to leave the accommodation alone this time. It was an utter disgrace that tehy commandeered all hotels, listed them on there website but they were never ever available. Still it was that nice Mr. Blatter's nephew who was running that so no problems there then. What are yours concerns? Hopefully not too many though also concerned about the lack of internal travelling as I do not intend to drive. I do also hope there is some sanity in ticket purchasing rather than people bidding for as many as possible and then trying to sell them. JUST BID FOR WHAT YOU ACTUALLY WANT.
For the foreigners do you intend to travel to Brasil? Yes, of course! Have you ever traveled to a WC? I've been to all Europe-based WC since 1990. Have you ever traveled to Brasil? No How many cities do you intend to go? One as it will be very expensive! What do you expect for 2014? I expect to see how Brazilians do it. It is the best football nation and it is worth seeing how they organize a tourney! What the WC organization can not miss for you? They should make ticketing easier than the system last time around! What are yours concerns? Crime and prostitution. I will be afraid to go out at night to be honest!
For the foreigners do you intend to travel to Brasil? AS of now that's the plan yes but anything can happen in two years. Have you ever traveled to a WC? Germany 2006 Have you ever traveled to Brasil? No but planning on going this summer and next for confederation cup and to scout the country and learn the language. How many cities do you intend to go? Planning on staying in between Sao Paulo and Rio... brasil is a huge country trying to see anymore cities is like traveling to other countries and i dont have the money. What do you expect for 2014? A brasil win, brasilian GF and lots funfunfunfun What the WC organization can not miss for you? Enough beer on stock What are yours concerns? I'll run out of money in the middle of the tournament lololol []__[]
For the foreigners do you intend to travel to Brazil? -Hell, yeah! Have you ever traveled to a WC? -2006 Germany, not really sure if that can be considered "traveled" though, since I still lived there at that time! Have you ever traveled to Brazil? -Nope, the closest I have been to Brazil was Panama...which is not actually close! How many cities do you intend to go? -No plans, yet. What do you expect for 2014? -If they manage to get all the preparations done in time...to have people from all over the world in one of the most famous countries (itself and for the sport), full of friendly and celebrating people which will directly affect the mood and mindset of the visitors and lead into a gigantic multi-cultural party of Brazilians and football fans from all over the world. What the WC organization can not miss for you? -Well organized public viewing events...because there will be loads of people without tickets. What are yours concerns? -Generally, I am not very concerned with things, when I travel...I say that being a budget traveler! Aside from that, I think a lot of people will go to the WC in 2014...just to seize the chance of going to Brazil which they always wanted to do. I am saying that based on the things people around me shared with me. Of course, not everybody will eventually push through with their plans, but there are a lot of people, I know from Europe, the US and even Asia who really wanna go...in some cases even regardless of the participation of their own country, just to enjoy the flair of the biggest (soccer) event being held in one of the biggest soccer nations with a generally positive reputation (obviously disregarding all the crime, violence, corruption and problems of a economically developing country)!
For the foreigners do you intend to travel to Brasil? YES Have you ever traveled to a WC? S Africa 2010 Have you ever traveled to Brasil? No, but going this fall for a short visit to Sao Paulo. How many cities do you intend to go? If I can, I like to go to many places Depends on: lottery results, local transportation. In S Africa went to 5 cities + a side trip to Vic Falls. What do you expect for 2014? An amazing month-long soccer fiesta! And maybe finally a good tournament result for Portugal What the WC organization can not miss for you? Ticketing set up was ok for 2010, hopefully they wont mess too much with that system. Availability of a centralized website to rent private housing. Options for reasonable inter-city air travel. What are yours concerns? Security, price gauging on accomodations. We also narrowly avoided the Durban semi disaser when sheduled commercial flights were turned away due to too many private jets crowding the airport - hopefully stuff like that will never ever happen again at any world cup.
Hi everybody! Thanks for all the info on here. I have never been to a World Cup and I would like to to Brazil because it would be a dream come true. I can't think of a better place for it! The city that I would most like to go to and stay as long as I can is Rio or course. The tickets for the games.... I'm really not sure what this lottery even is. Maybe someone could please explain. I have read up on MATCH Hospitality through FIFA and that is a rip off. I would like to get tickets for one or two games for USA and one for Brazil maybe in the knockout stage if I can. I have no idea how I would go about this. I don't want to buy tickets that turn out to be fakes or something. My other huge concern is about traveling between cities. It could get really expensive. I think one trip would be fun to get a change of scenery, but I think I will stick to one city and go see the games at bars and fan site. Hopefully there will be other fans of my teams there to party with. If anyone is a USA fan and would also possibly be interested in seeing Brazil, where do you guys plan on going/staying/watching the games? I hope I find a good group of USA fans to hang out with while I'm there. Thanks everyone!
