It was a dangerous cross that Guyana scored on. I watched a few minutes of the Mexico - Guyana game. Guyana had a few chances actually.

And in an awkward moment, the lights just went out at Costa Rica's new stadium...

Agree with this. Both the US and Mexico today flagged in the last 30.

Why do you all have so many post game threads?

This happened in Ghana in their CAF WCQ like last week, game was postponed over an hour I think and then completed.

Who are we rooting for by the way? My votes go to Jamaica-Guatemala draw, El Salvador and Panama.

We have one for defense, one for midfielders, one for the attack, one for coaching/subs. Then one for general post-game thoughts. We also have a ratings thread.

its just a way to keep the conversation more linear and organized.

And this long pause basically took away El Salvador's momentum...

That's what we want - let them duke it out for 2nd place.

Think we want the winner of ES and Costa Rica to be someone that can at least give Mexico heartburn.

I dunno...that is good for our chances of winning the group, but for finishing top two we just want one of those teams to tank. Probably too late for Guatemala to pull off the road win though.

I don't think they are, it is deceiving because it looks lighted but it's actually not and the players are just trying to stay fresh. Could be wrong.

Yes, correct on all three games. I want Canada to advance out of Group C and it'll help for Honduras to lose points at home. I'd like El Salvador to finish 2nd ahead of the Ticos so obviously rooting for them.

Also a fair point. Giving us room for a draw of our own would be nice though.

Guatemala looks HORRIBLE - slow, small, and constantly fouling. Jamaica has hit the bar 2 or 3 times too and could be up 4-0. I don't know if Guat even has a shot on goal yet. Jamaica is flying all over the pitch but looks sloppy and is mainly playing Route 1 long balls. Based on this game I think A + B could take points off the Guats.
