His cap hit is a lot for teams to swallow

watch Mullins drop to LA, that will piss me off :) They get so lucky on most draft days like that.

The Div 2 player striker, goes ahead of the 2x Hermann Trophy winner and College Cup finalist.

Even with cap considered, surely thats still a huge surprise.

Do we get allocation $ and "more to be announced"? I assumed the allocation money WAS the "more to be announced" That was how I read the tweets, but there are many moving parts and misinformation sometimes.
Can anyone confirm one or the other?

It wouldn't surprise me if Philly gets Mullins and then trades him to us for allocation

Yeah, unlike what fischy is claiming elsewhere, I've heard Mullins's cap it is in the six figure range.

No trophies, but they have some impressive young attacking talent.

    20. CHV - T. McNamara - Clemson midfielder (Go Tigers!)
    21. SEA - J. Ockford

#20 was traded to CHV from DCU in the Casey Townsend trade

Apparently they called out his "awesome mullet" on air at the draft :)
