The thread title is self-explanatory, go!

I figured we could use this thread to post updates on rosters featuring college kids and then how they're doing.

The Seattle Sounders 23s have announced some of their roster. Ten of the 11 are players will remaining college eligibility.
    http://www.soundersu23.com/roster/index_E.html

Michael Bajza, a rising Soph. at NC State and teammate Clement Simonin, a rising Sr., are both making the trek to the NW.

    http://www.gopack.com/sports/m-soccer/mtt/michael_bajza_856254.html

Simonin is a French kid, as is Duquense's rising Jr. Thomas de Villardi. (Interesting he is opting for the Sounders instead of staying in Pittsburgh and playing with the Riverhounds.)

Also making the trek from North Carolina is Elon's rising Jr. Austin Dunker.

Several U-Dub kids have a much shorter trek to play for the Sounders' PDL team. Rising R-Jr. Ryan Hermann, rising Jrs. Ian Lange and Michael Gallagher, rising Sr. Darwin Jones,

All four of them are Sounders Academy alum. Another Sounders academy alum is. Denver's rising Jr. Jordan Schweitzer

And one more local is Seattle's rising Sr. Chase Hanson.

The Albuquerque Sol, a newly formed PDL team, has chosen five players from last season's Lobo team that made it to the Final Four. They are redshirt sophomore Chris Gurule, sophomore Josh Goss, redshirt juniors Josh Dye and Adrian Mora Delgato, and senior Nick Miele. NCAA rules permit just five players from any college program to play for the same summer team. The Sol will help in the development of players for the Colorado Rapids. Five players playing for the Sols as part of the Rapids development system include New Mexico's Gurule, Princeton's Bryan Windsor, Creighton's Ricardo Perez, and St. Mary's twins, Alex and Ben Bramman. The Sol will be playing their inaugural match in Las Vegas, NV on May 3.

Thanks for the information. I have been waiting for the roster release and have not seen it, although it was supposed to be released today. Do you have a link?

The full roster announcement is tonight MT 6:30-8:30 at an intro affair. Word is the squad will be 39 strong with 28 New Mexicans. The Albuquerque Sol FC website is pretty lean at the moment. http://www.abqsolfc.com/

As the only PDL team in Northern California, the Quakes U23s might've been expected to line up a few more recognizable names than they've got. A few that stand out are

    Seth Casiple (Cal)
    Joshua Smith (USF)
    Matt Wiesenfarth (UC Davis)

Perhaps surprisingly, Santa Clara GK Kendall McIntosh isn't on their roster. And completely unsurprisingly, Stanford's Jordan Morris will head home to play for the Sounders U23 squad.

Isn't the rule no more than 5 players from the same school on a PDL team? IIRC, Billy Heavner also goes to UMBC, bringing their total players to 6.

Presumably, one of the UMBC guys hasn't enrolled yet.

Reading United announce two more additions:

    Scott Krotee (Gardner-Webb Grad)
    Quincy Thomas (Memphis)

    http://www.readingunitedac.com/reading-area-player-give-united-hometown-feel.html

I'm not familiar with any of the announced U-20 members. For the PDL team, the announced roster for Reading United thus far has been:

    Darius Madison (Virginia)
    Colton Storm (UNC)
Shane Campbell (transferring from PSU to Louisville)
    Alex Bono (Syracuse)
    Wes Charpie (USF)
    Lucas Baldwin (USF)
    Owen Griffith (Penn State)
Manolo Sanchez (Clemson by way of Louisville)
    Scott Krotee (Formerly of Gardner-Webb)
    Quincy Thomas (Memphis)
