Hernandez would be an instant draw and attract as much or possibly more Mexican fans than even Blanco. I know a lot more people from Guadalajara than any other part of Mexico and after he signed with Man Utd. I suddenly started seeing all these Mexican United fans. That being said, he would help the team financially and on the pitch but wouldn't help on the pitch as much as Blanco did.

It's a really big basement, lol. It used to just be wine. I've slowly been gtting him to change a couple of racks. It's slow going. He's one of those guys who needs to think a good idea is his good idea, or else it isn't good.

We'll convince him it's his idea to buy the Fire.

Won't have to listen to those NBCSN announcers for awhile. Not gonna say anything about the Fire's announcers: wrong thread.

Robbie Russell was horrible, I guess we got NBCSN "B" (maybe "C") team. If was funny how Russell said that Sherjill Anangono is a proven goal scorer, but not getting any starts because of Quincy.

It was until the ref decided to be dick for a day. He was more interested in making sure no one got an extra inch on a free kick or throw in than making an real calls. I hope he gets shipped back to whatever rec league he came from real soon.

The Fire are to 90th minute penalty saves from being tied for first place.

    That's basically it.

Despite being terrible, the league has not run away from us yet. We are just 2 points from a playoff spot, and just 5 from the top of the East. And there is still plenty of time to turn that around. As soon as Joya and Ward come into the picture and Nyarko and Watson/Alex go out.

Kansas City is going run away with the Eastern Division, so spots 2-5 are up in the air. Two points and two wins, five points and three wins (wins are the first tiebreaker), but yeah there is plenty of time to turn it around.

Of course I meant "two", not "to".

But will still suck...not very optimistic, I know.

Optimism: We are (only...still) a CAM away from being good.

Optimistic thought at 3:26am: at least we didn't spend Keane money on Anangono.

This thread genre has been my favorite over the past few years. Each season/week, Sal gives us the mathematic possibilities of how the Fire are not that far away and how you can leap frog nine teams if you just win your games in hand etc. We should call you AnangaNostrodamus as none of it ever happens. Use your eyeballs folks. This team hasn't been the same quality as the top teams for years. Dream up any scenario you want if it makes you feel better, but the Fire are who we thought they are.
