That is no longer true. You can't get the free trial without entering payment info. It is now opt-out, not opt-in. And I'm not sure the ESPN3 Indy/Carolina game is included.

"Painless" except for the pain of cash being separated from wallet for an un-tested and poorly produced product?

I've tried to sign up three times and gotten a message that reads, "No subscription plans available at this time." No response from the website or from the Twitter.

I signed up at early yesterday and had zero problems with my signup and getting to view each game last night....I even signed up for the FREE TRIAL membership that ends/renews on April 22nd if I wish to pay for the season. The broadcasts were VERY GOOD and easy to get to on the NASL website. It was probably THE easiest product I've ever purchased online before...whole process took about 2 minutes. I've opted for the full season, so If I encounter any challenges during the season I'll mention it here.

Was the ESPN3 game (Carolina/Indy) available on the NASL plan?

So whats the general conscious of the quality of NASL Live? Is it worth the $30?

Yes Andy ,it was on the NASL plan. I bounced around from each match last night, and it was a breeze and quality was very good on all matches. Now I realize some won't get the quality they want ( maybe it has something to do with the internet service?...IDK...I have Time Warner up here inn ROC)
I'm hoping the Cosmos game will be on the NASL plan, as last year we had to go thru One World sports, and I really like the ease of the NASL feeds.

Again, for me , even if I watch 15 NASL games now thru Nov 30, its only like $2 a game that I could watch anywhere (laptop/phone,etc)....in reality it will be less as I'll view more then 15 games in the 6mths....I could run down the street to grab a beer or a dunkin donuts coffee for more then viewing a game online.

Think San Antonio Scorpions were on KSAT ABC last season, not sure about this season. Atlanta had the spanish broadcaster last year, not sure if thats on again. Doesn't look like Ft Lauderdale will have a TV broadcast.

Anyone without One World Sports, but has Optimum and is in the New York Area, the Cosmos-Scorpions game is going to be on the overflow channel (73/414)

You say that like is a bad thing.

The women national team is popular. Most players are in nwsl.

Not a bad thing for women's soccer. Doesn't necessarily look good for NASL. And yes, I am bigot when it comes to women "sports," except the Lingerie Bowl. Lingerie Bowl is legit female sport...and various types of liquid wrestling in small inflatable pools as well.

Wow. "Chick soccer"? For real? Did you hear about the league from a"lady-doctor"?

Why shouldn't NWSL--arguably the biggest, most talented women's league in the world--have a better deal than a second division men's league? I'm neither surprised nor disappointed in NASL's inability to get a better deal. Nor, for that matter, do I think there's any excuse for a top-tier women's league having a worse distribution model than a DII men's league.

Come back to the conversation once you've joined this century.

Just because they have the right to vote doesn't mean anybody should care about watching them play soccer. To each their own, but I put NWSL right up (down) there with WNBA. I will admit that I do catch the occasional USWNT.

It amazes me more people aren't interested in professional women's team sports. I mean it seems just about all the woman's national teams are the best in the world at their sport. Thats a lot more then what our mens teams can say, lol.

I'm always amazed when soccer fans in the United States take time out of the day to take potshots at other groups of sports fans.

It doesn't surprise me at all.

I've been to several WNBA games here in SA, and it just doesn't do anything. I'm not a basketball fan in the first place, but I still support local (insert here) wherever I am. That said, me not being a basketball fan has nothing to do with my disinterest in the WNBA. Simply put, it's the EPL argument here in America. Why would I watch the WNBA when there is another league that is vastly more skillful, and moves faster ?

It is painful to watch some of those games sometimes because (not being sexist or biased, or whatever) there is a limit to what females can do, regardless of the sport.

    Of course, I love Track/Field though ...

I do not see where any potshots were taken. Perhaps my reading comprehension is not as fine tuned as yours.
