Relegation for Daejeon supporters I think was a good thing. Can actually have hope over an entire season for positive results, and can watch exciting youngsters like Seo develop and play week in week out. I will gladly embrace a yo-yo club identity if the alternative is perennial bottom of a no relegation league. If the club can be "Daejeon Shítizen" only every other year in the first division, that's an improvement.
E-Land group is creating another Seoul-based team. They will be playing in the K-league Challenge next season. http://sports.news.naver.com/sports...&mod=read&office_id=001&article_id=0006852686 With corporate money, they'll probably win promotion fairly quickly.
meh ~ ... its Goyang Hallelujah e-land ver. The only way we can make this fun is by: e-land FC buys Park Chu-young and FC Seoul joins e-land FC in K League Challenge 2015
E-Land also owned a semi-pro team back then. It was called E-Land Puma FC. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-Land_Puma_FC Just hoping they don't name it Seoul E-Land FC.
E-Land, teaming up with Peter O'Malley (former Dodger owner who sold the team to Fox), had put in one of the more serious bids for the LA Dodgers. What looked like a ridiculous overbuy at $2 billion by Guggenheim Partners looks eminently reasonable now.
I think with less hype, he can be properly developed. To me, seo is faster than pcy was but its going to be interesting to see if seo can be a killer finisher pcy was hyped. Seo doesnt carry around the same hype but equally talented at that age.
Lee Hee-chan (on loan from Pohang, U-19 NT member) is playing on his debut for Goyang today 454814960212656128 is not a valid tweet id There's like 7 DF registered players playing for Goyang today. So he could be starting at midfield position, else CB/LB would be likely.
Weekly Daejeon Citizens lineup: home to Gwangju FC Kim Chan Hee ........... Adriano Seo Myung Won Song Ju Han ................. Jung Suk Min ... Lee Gwang Jin .............. Jang Won Suk Ahn Young Kyu ....... Yoon Won Il ....... Im Chang Woo Kim Sun Kyu
anddd Daejeon rolls Gwangju 4:0 There sure are a lot of goals being scored in the 2nd tier. The 1st tier's quality has really gone down in that department.
What a good buy Adriano was for Daejeon. 6 goals in 4 league games. Standing: 1. Anyang 10 pts 2. Daejeon 9 pts 3. Police 9 pts 4. Goyang 7 pts

So its official - a new club in Seoul in K League Challenge next year. Club's name, coaching staff and players will be going into work after this month. Jamsil Olympic stadium will be their stadium. Im just worried about them getting the players. Unfortunately the draft is finishing by 2015 which means this club will have to spend some $$$ on gathering players. "Being fan-friendly club like Seattle Sounders is this club's target. Our role model is Borussia Dortmund."
They already fail on that front if they're gonna put the team up at Jamsil... huge capacity + athletics track = bleh. Jamsil is even bigger than other athletics stadiums as it has all the field event runways outside of the oval. I think the empty stadium in Mokdong would have been a better choice, though it is kind of close to Sangam and has a track (can't get too picky there as most in Korea have one for whatever reason).
I like how they're aiming for financial stability + profit as a club. More clubs need to do this, it will only bode well on the long run.
