It looks like seattle will sign the remaining trailists at some point but its just a matter of getting another international spot open.

Do you think there's no chance of it happening?

I can't see it happening. If it did I would be surprised.

While not against it and it would take some pressure off Clint but unlikely is my guess.

I will never say that, but I will say that this has been rumored since before the start of the pre-season. As a result, I will only believe it when I see Drogba in a Sounders uniform standing in front of a podium talking about how great it will be to be playing for the team. :)

I'm not too excited about this whole Drogba rumor thing. Martins just starting to get rolling with this squad. Dempsey too. No reason for a change.

I can see it happening. Why wouldn't Drogba not want to live in Seattle? It's a great place to live and he'd be playing in the best supported team in the league.

Only way I could see it happening is Martins leaves to Turkey and Drogba comes here.

That's what I was guessing as well. Martins was looking to go to Turkey in the off-season and he was rather cagey about it when he was asked during pre-season. If that is still the case, I could see a player swap being used to reduce the transfer cost of bringing Drogba in.

Yea martins would have to go given not only we would need a DP tag but also another international spot beyond what we need to sign the remaining two trialists.

Hopefully this means no more Estrada.

Unless I missed it, Estrada isn't even making the 18 right now. Adding Parsemain is probably putting him at the bottom of the depth chart if he wasn't there already.

There is no need to actually cut Estrada.

I didn't mean cut him. I just don't want to see him play (I know he probably wasn't going to anyways).
