This summer AS Roma will participate in the 2014 Guinness International Cup along with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Olimpiakos, Liverpool, Inter, and AC Milan. We are in decent company and this should not only be fun for fans but a chance for more US exposure. AS ROMA SCHEDULE Game 1: 26-7-14 AS Roma v. Manchester United @ Sports Authority Field, Denver Colorado Game 2: 29-7-14 AS Roma v. Real Madrid @ Cotton Bowl, Dallas Texas Game 3: 2-8-14 As Roma v. it's not that bad. i think we can beat Man Utd and Inter Man Utd, Milan, Inter, and Olympiakos are probably the weakest teams of the 8. Real Madrid, City, and maybe Liverpool are better than us. i honestly think both the Milan teams will finish last. Man Utd and Olympiakos will finish 3rd
So, its only the top team in each group qualify for the final? Not the usual two who then compete in a semi-finals first?
I'll be at the match vs United in Denver. If they make the final I will drive down to Miami for it. What I really want to happen in this turd tournament though is for no one to get injured.
Napoli beat us once, in a fluke game. And Juves midfield and defence is vastly superior to Liverpools
I would even put Napoli's midfield a few steps above Liverpool on a good day. I would take Inler in a heartbeat to rotate in our midfield. Liverpool might not even see the ball if we have our starting midfield out there.
Not that it means anything, but we bested Liverpool last summer before the addition of Ninja and Bastos!!
Thinking about Denver...sister lives in the Pacific Northwest....could be fun....there are also new and interesting laws in Colorado!!
what new law? they were playing a B team Gulacsi (Jones 46mins): McLaughlin (Flanagan 46), Carragher (Agger 46), Skrtel (Sama 60mins), Enrique (Wilson 60); Aquilani (Suso 46), Spearing (Lucas 60), Shelvey (Adorjan 60); Cole (Adam 46), Eccleston (Morgan 46), Sterling (Pacheco 46)
Yes there are. I was just out there in mid January for some snowboarding. Going out again the first week of April. If you're going to make your way out to Denver to the game let me know. My best friend lives out there and I've probably been to Colorado 20 times. We'll meet up and partake in the World class beer scene and anything else that may strike our fancy. ROMA CLUB BIG SOCCER The whole buying cannabis procedure I found to be a real hoot. Not at all what I expected but that's a conversation for another time.
check out Stranahan's Distillery. they have tours. REALLLY amazing whiskey. like truly amazing. very unique Colorado whiskey. they cost $68 a bottle but its very worth it. not sure how much the tour costs but not as much as a bottle. they give you a taste on the tour
Sounds great. I will do that. Especially seeing as I'm a bourbon enthusiast so I'm always up for trying new whiskey's. Thanks for the tip.
Stranahan is probably my #1 pick for bourbon and top 3 for whiskeys. I'd drink it all the time, but it's expensive. If you're a bourbon/whiskey enthusiast, you'd really appreciate the unique taste of Stranahans. It just has a really "Colorado" taste. You can get it anywhere in the US, even in liquor stores in Florida, but if you want to learn more about their distilling process and try some samples, I'd drop by the distillery to check em out.
I've done the bourbon tour through Kentucky and loved every minute of it so I will check this out. I always enjoy seeing how the stuff I like is made be it drink, food, what ever really.
Of course thats what you take from my statement... So you believe Napoli are better than us, and by 3-0 at that? Not saying we deserved to win, but the result was no doubt a one off, a fluke
