Sounds to me like there are a handful of executives who thought "how can I travel more and charge it to the business card?". How in-depth do they need to get to slap together either boring or hideous kits?

 

So I take it from our jersey, they were interviewing people at McDonald's and while leaving saw someone walk out of the Burger King across the street wearing one of their crowns?

For my birthday, my lovely spouse gave me a replica jersey and I have to say, in person, I rather like it! My poor wife had ordered it and a few days later heard me say how much people hated the new jersey. At least I had said that 'folks are saying the replica jersey is not as awful as the authentic jersey'. She was so relieved that I liked it when I opened the package.

 

As far as crappy jerseys go, that one is the better of the two. It at least keeps the same solid color throughout, vs the crown design abruptly ending at the sleeves. I think the official kit would've looked a lot better had they kept the design through the sleeves as well for some continuity.

 

Wouldn't you be smiling if you got a jersey in your happy meal?

Lol, nice pic. Funny how the replica jersey looks better than the real one, just goes to show you how bad Adidas screwed this one up. The center stripe with the crown on the real jersey is just awful.

Still, the replica jersey just looks too....BLAH for me, it looks like a 5 year old did one of those "color in the lines" pictures and that's what got spit out.
