Rumor has it Lifevantage will be the front jersey sponsor next year. I have an uncle that sent me these images from a convention he attended .
"We are excited about our new partnership with the Real Salt Lake Soccer Club..." http://www.lifevantage.com/activation-rewards/ Partnership doesn't necessarily mean jersey sponsor. Does it?
That web page indicates to me that they are the new shirt sponsor. It was a lame rendition in the photo, but it looks to me that they were just trying to put something together for the show. Looks to me like the company jumped the gun, and broke the news before the club could do so. I imagine the club can't announce anything until the current sponsorship is no longer in effect?
This isn't a joke? Another MLM company? Really? KFC as a jersey sponsor is starting to look pretty good.
Considering out options are Xango, as long as there are a lots of commas and zeroes on that check, I'm fine with it.
Usually a jersey-front sponsorship deal is worth mentioning in a little clearer detail... That anouncement from lifevantage is a little cryptic. Perhaps on purpose. I think it is just an internal promotion, as it says.
The thing with jersey sponsors, is that there's rarely a perfect one out there. If they're paying more than Xango, then it's good for the club. This is no worse than the various betting sites that are all over jerseys of the world.
It is possible. I hear it is a vitamin company. I thought maybe Usana. So I guess I was wrong and an MLM is still going to be on the front of the jersey
Wikipedia tells me that they're a MLM company that makes and sells a supplement called Propandiflax...or something. Montel Williams is their spokesperson. RSL is reaching new heights with this one. I know it pays the bills, but I reserve the right to make fun of it, and to maybe not buy the jersey if it turns out this company is total ass.
I didn't realize that this supplement is just a made up word. Maybe after this one is over we can move on to essential oils, or the power of magnets.
OOOOOOoooohhh - I can see it now, infomercials for RSL showing how Lifevantage magically makes rebuilding teams top of the charts. Starring Montel, Donny Osmond and Bob Bradley (next RSL coach).
Dr Fitzke's Lucky Astrology Supplements, now with 50% more enhancitonium to promote future health. Still your best, and only, source of sparkilite (sourced only from organic unicorn horns).
Get them from Canada. They're much cheaper, and they come in an unmarked package for your privacy Disclaimer: no unicorns were harmed in the production of this post.
I guess it's just second nature to take up these shady ass MLM companies as first rate sponsors in Utah, you never see things like this in the PacNW. Hopefully there are a lot of zeros on the checks they are writing, it'd be a sad state of affairs if they aren't paying much more than Xango and we couldn't get any interest from a company that's actually worth a damn. It is funny to me that these companies are willing to shell out a lot of money for these sponsorships, do they see it as a legitimization of their company in the mainstream? I sure as hell don't think it does anything in terms of actual marketing, of all the times I've worn my RSL jersey I have never actually had ANYONE ask me what Xango is.
I'm remembering an article from 2009ish in which Xango said that the RSL sponsorship had, by far, the greatest return/dollar of all of their marketing activities. I think it was just before they re-upped with the team. I don't know how you measure the impact of dollars spent on advertising accurately, but Xango was definitely a believer in the kit sponsorship.
is this the same company / product that shows the couple in the bathtub looking at the sunset.....I can't keep them all straight....
Adobe, eBay, Scheels - any legitimate business that actually sells a real product that benefits society would be great...
