See, I try to keep things realistic when I play. I signed Raul Jugadondes Montes and Luill Danmonald. Never heard of them? Doesn't matter. I used allocation money and made them my designated players. They're currently on my bench. Haven't won a game.
Last year I had Gutti Pena and Diskerud as my 2 midfielders, Pappa and Nyarko as my wings, Rolfe/Alex in the middle, No Magee I think I was still using McDonald. I did ok.
I keep thinking that this would be a good move for both the club and player (probably would have made more sense last season).
If he makes Brazil , I would guess he would be looking at the continent.probably the Netherlands or Germany- which would suit his play.
...sorry, I thought this was the Optimism Thread. Diskerud might fall into that USMNT "too expensive for MLS, but not a Donovan, Bradley or Dempsey-type name." Apparently, Portland was going to sign him last year, but felt he was not worth DP-money (much less than Keane-type money?). http://www.soccerbyives.net/2013/02/diskerud-signs-rosenborg.html Anyway, he signed a two year contract with Rosenberg, through this season. He could be available in the winter on a free. His value 1.4 million euro, so I doubt we will be seeing him our near future. Also, he said this about MLS, "I, for sure, want much more to belong to a team and a city than to be 'owned' by a league," Diskerud said. "Especially when the league puts so many restrictions on what kind of non–economic agreements the club and the player can make. The economic constraints I understand and accept, so it's not that... As far as I am concerned, I think the MLS policies of today are tailored to a little older players who accept to limit themselves to end their careers in the U.S./Canada and MLS," he said. http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/66/u...s-about-us-future-and-failed-portland?ICID=OP
Actually completely my fault.random thread clicks..thought I was in a roster thread Edit..damn you got me on that one.for a minute I bit this was an optimism thread.
He was a good thinker on the field for the Fire, he just thought too slowly to make the decision. OF course, he was still a "kid" (in that he was just out of college). I still think we got rid of him too early. Of all of the problems the 2011 team had, Baggio Husidic was not one of them. He may not have been a great player, but he showed flashes when given decent minutes, especially in 2010 (5 goals in 22 games, third on the 2010 team and would have been good enough for second in scoring on the 2013 Chicago Fire). It's interesting that LAG did with Husidic what the Fire did with Robbie Rogers, acquired his "rights" while he was overseas. Perhaps they thought Husidic would come out as gay, say he would only play again for the Fire and MLS brass would force us to give them Mike Magee back.
So, Orlando, a team that does not even exist yet, has its sights set on Kaka and Robinho. http://www.soccerbyives.net/2014/05/considering-swapping-orlando.html Meanwhile, we have been waiting for over two years for a "Keane Money" player. 2014 Roster Speculation: We're not holding our collective breath. Our future does not look bright. I am still "optimistic" that something will get done with an impact player after the World Cup.
Your Fifa 14 just tweeted Montes was having family troubles and would have to leave the team and go home to sort things out. Sorry...
Hey what about this guy??? http://www.sounderatheart.com/sound...5/9/5701030/alvaro-fernandez-seattle-sounders Oops…nevermind.
