Kaka is friends with the owner of Orlando City. Not much we can do about that.

Just like we did for Michael Bradley (since he had a Chicago connection, playing for the Sockers as a kid and having a dad who was the Fire's only good head coach).
    Oh, wait, nevermind.

    Yes, that's exactly correct.

I laud Yallop for holding players accountable by benching them if they suck out loud. But to move your league MVP away from goal really looks like a bad idea. Magee himself has said he's a forward, and Magee's career wasn't spectacular until he was moved up front.

Amarikwa isn't exactly a perfect lone striker in a 4-1-4-1, either. He isn't even 6 feet in height, he isn't incredibly strong, and he hasn't shown nearly as much of a nose for goal as Magee. Its great that he puts in the effort and runs around the pitch, but what has he accomplished in doing so?

On a good team, Amarikwa is a perfect 3rd-choice forward/rotational guy. On ANY team in MLS, Magee should be a starter up front, IMO.

Are you saying that Magee should be the one playing up top in the 4-1-4-1 formation (I think Quincy is stronger and better in the air than Magee)? If so that's even worse than Quincy being up top. Yes Quincy isn't 6 feet tall, but he got to more of the high ball than Anangono got to. As for not being strong, did you see the play where a NY defender tried to tackle him and he kept on going (dumbass ref called a foul instead of playing the advantage).

Yes I agree with you if we had an owner willing to get players like Keane, Defoe or DiVaio, Qunicy would be 3rd choice forward. We are stuck getting other teams retreads, that's would we have become.

So I'll put this on Dollar Menu, yet again he brings us nothing in the off season to help us out (forward or attacking midfielder).

I wouldn't mind a 4-3-3 if we could convince Quincey to backtrack some. With Joya, Shipp and Larentowicz in the middle it would be interesting if nothing else.

Who's the third player in the 4-3-3? Rolfe or Anangono?

Anangono. I hadn't thought about Rolfe up there but that would work too, with Magee in the middle.
